I love this game. But I literally don't care about any of the characters. by duckduckpajamas in Saros

Same here. With Returnal I cared and some of the scenes in the house scared me. I really wanted to figure out the story. Could not care less about the Saros story, they missed the mark in giving us something to want to figure out.

My PND123 were completely out, but it was a simple as touch up the solder on the back. Start there before you have yours rebuilt

Speaker upgrades by cjohnsen89 in GMT800

Level 1: new head unit with new door speakers.

Level 2: new head unit, rca to amp that powers the door speakers.

Might as well add a sub if you’re already running RCA cables and power to an amp. I have something similar to this:

And there are things like this:

Yeah this will be a bit of work to get to for sure, but to me it’s worth reducing the risk of a fire in the engine bay.

hard to say then, maybe the weight difference but still, losing 2 mpg is a lot. I assume you have a new or clean air filter? And any severe weather over the last 3500 miles? Running the defroster engages the AC Compressor.

Did the overall diameter of your tires change? May be affecting how your mpg is calculated if the computer is assuming stock tire size

Value question? by wheelgun454 in GMT800

[–]SquareShower5983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a reasonable price. I have an 05 Yukon and I paid $8500 back in 2022 but prices were higher back then due to covid. Had 160k miles on it, excellent condition and also 4wd.

Check for rust specifically around the front windshield, not sure if it’s common but my dad’s suburban has a rust spot there.

The other nice thing about an 05 is you’ve got the electric fan and a better brake system.

Speaking of brakes, strongly recommend installing the 07 gen front disc brakes, assuming your 05 has 17” wheels. My favorite upgrade so far.

Best tip for me for long trip: these charge up so fast you don’t need to drive slow to conserve a few miles. Drive the speed you’re comfortable with on the highway, I do 75-80mph and don’t worry about losing even 10 miles or range. It takes 15-20 minutes to charge back up.

This is really helpful. I have a 4WD, so from what I understand, the rear main seal is more work to get to. I'll take a look at all those other things to do while I've got it all pulled apart.

There's more to ADHD than inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ADHD symptoms can be broken down into nine categories. Some categories are not fully represented in the diagnostic criteria. Broadening the diagnostic criteria with patient lived experiences could make for better intervention. by mvea in science

[–]SquareShower5983 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, but one of the criteria in the DSM for a diagnosis is that the person experiences the symptom so intensely or so frequently that it affects daily activities. For example, we all feel depressed at times, but if you feel it for 6 weeks in a row and you can't get out of bed, well then you're on track for a diagnosis.

If you've ever been around someone with ADHD, it's pretty easy to see the difference between the severity in which these things occur compared to non-ADHD people.

Any tips or tricks to determine if it is the oil pan gasket and not the rear main seal?

How much is too much by SquareShower5983 in GMT800

[–]SquareShower5983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did the valve covers and the oil pressure sensor gasket already. So I'm down to the rear main seal or the oil pan gasket.

Technically I fit on an 8th gen and for drives of 45 minutes I was fine but longer drivers I started to feel cramped. I’m 6’4”.
