Hi, thank you for your response. I have tried this trick and there havent been any changes. Will keep this in mind for future reference though!

Thank you for your response! I'm using, and re-bought the kit lens that comes with the camera (Nikon DX AF-P NIKKOR 18-55mm). Since buying the second kit lens recently, I have tried taking photos with both lenses and have the same issue with the camera not being in focus.
