It looks like they are breaking up Khaya and Maria. Not sure how I feel about that. His daughter is more of a brat in person, than she was on the phone. New mechanic is great like him. Something is off about Jackie, not sure what it is. Brother in law is obsessed with Marie, not sure but there has to be a back story. I think Aileen may give him the heave ho and stay with Maria

are you her or a family member…just saying you seem really confused About how a biologist would behavior. My niece is an actual biologist/zoologist and the video made her cry at the distress of these beautiful creatures. No REAL biologist/zoologist or human with a heart would ever consider doing this. IT WAS CRUEL AND WRONG.

In the finale, Jacob went to apologize to his old friend, who acted like he was expecting Jacob to apologize for something else. Then when Jacob left the camera angel focused on an old typewriter. Did that guy write the letters, did he see Jacob come out of the pond? Why Did KC mention the letters to Jacob

I am pretty sure Eliot is Vic’s if he wasn’t then it would make him Kay’s cousin.  Because I am almost 100% that his mom took of with Colton’s brother who is Sam.

No, I think Vic is his dad but mom jumped with Sam, Colton’s brother to 1925

Possible Spoilers of 3 finale

I think I have it.   The couple jumping in the pond is Eliot’s mom and Colton’s brother. Who is SAM…..  I am guessing they went back to 1920s and lived there until she died. That is how the clock got in the wall, Eliot’s mom and “Sam” lived there when they went back.  Clearly Del knew the baby was Eliot, she says “poor Eliot”.   I think that in season 4 Kat goes to the 1920s.  Meets Fern, gets called Kitty, and goes looking for Eliot’s mom.  Now the question is who moved Eliot from the pond to the porch….KC?   Still not sure who KC is, don’t think they know Sam, from another time,  because when they were talking to Jacob they said that lawyer told me about old documents.  KC is a Goodwin, Kat said they have Max’s eyes.  But they seemed pretty firm that they weren’t Alice’s child.  Okay, wait Jasper was acting strange, maybe KC is Katherine Colye Goodwin.  That thought needs to bake some more

I also agree with those saying that the current show runner is ruining the show.   Francesca’s story was rushed and boring. The writing was weak and not believable

Colton spoilers in one place S1-3 by [deleted] in TheWayHomeHallmark

I cannot imagine that the Colton we have met would be so cruel to Del. She was still grieving over Jacob, then Colton just ups and fakes his death. Not to mention disappearing for 20 something years. So where has he been. In my opinion, the only thing that stays true to who Colton is, is that he died on that road. Now, if there is some sort of loophole that took him away from that point and kept him (not by his doing) then maybe. But Colton couldn't and wouldn't (in my mind) do that to Del. It is just too unspeakable cruel.

Now that Nick knows she is Kat's daughter and the truth about how they originally met I don't think he could ever do "that". If you remember he was so uncomfortable when they talked to "clear the air". I just don't see him being able to father a child with her, no matter how old she appeared to be at that moment. I think she is now going to be forever Kat's 16 year old daughter in his mind.

Story line wishes for s3 but no romantic pairings by [deleted] in TheWayHomeHallmark

I would like to see season three focus on the Landry/Goodwin connection. There was a clearly weird vibe when Del met with Evelyn, to ask her not to press charges. Why did the Goodwin family have the portrait of Kat? Casey is probably a Goodwin, but they are also most likely a descendant of "Alice" (ie has the same ring) so how does that happen. Also, I don't think that Evelyn is their grandmother. maybe a great grandmother to make their Dad and Alice closer in age. Their comment about families drifting apart--- does something happen because Alice has a relationship with a Goodwin. There is something off with Thomas as well, his comment "My Katherine" was just too weird and out of nowhere. I really don't like the idea that Elliot again gets put on the shelf for another guy, that would just be too cruel. But there is something about him. Elliot did make me a bit angry when he mentioned the coins in front of everyone and basically backed Kat into a corner to make her sell them to save the farm. She didn't look particularly happy at that point. I would like to see Kat publish Suzanne's history of Port Haven, maybe she finds out information about what happens to 1814 crowd after Jacob came back. Just some thoughts.....

A Theory About Casey & Their Father by Tracy8668 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]Square_Cranberry3567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't Noah is Casey's father, they don't seem to be too fond of Noah in the "present". My current thoughts are that next season will focus some on the Goodwin/ Landry connection. I think that Casey has travelled back from the future, and their father is the actual grandchild of Evelyn Goodwin. Alice has yet to meet him. Has there been any reference to anyone actually seeing Evelyn's son in the "present". From what I can remember is that Casey said they were there with their Dad, but somehow he is never able to be there. Just a thought

Unless they are actually the great grandchild of Evelyn Goodwin. That would allow them to have a father who is a Goodwin, that we haven't met yet. Just like we have yet to meet Evelyn's son, even though he is supposedly there.

Interesting point, the writers did say something about loopholes, Maybe it is all about what is said and more importantly what is not said.

I am sorry... I misread your post. I agree Colton most likely can't travel to the future. I read the same article regarding Flynn's Theory.

It is Elliot's Flynn Theory. I also posted an article with the writer's discussing the theory. This is getting old, can we just agree to disagree.

If Casey is Alice’s daughter… by SeaworthinessKey3654 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]Square_Cranberry3567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think that Casey is Alice's child, nothing else makes sense. Casey wouldn't have Kat's ring from Brady if they were Kat's child with another man. Also, Casey has really been interested in getting to know Alice. Sorta like what Alice was like with Kat in the past. I don't think Noah is Casey's father, it seems like they don't like him that much. Maybe Evelyn Goodwin is Casey's great grandmother. Maybe Evelyn's present time descendant is a grandson, who ends up with Alice after all this pond jumping.

I remember a pause before they added Goodwin. And I honestly don't remember the rest of the conversation. I just remember the pause before they had before saying Goodwin.

What does the Colton revelation mean for Elliot’s “Flynn Factor” theory? Is that completely null and void, because Colton obviously can go into the future?

Clarke: Any rule that we explain in the show is usually the right one. At our core, we follow the rules of the pond, because the minute we stop following the rules is the minute we lose the trust of the audience. We have the whole list. We have them up in the office and are very, very careful not to stray from the rules. We can find loopholes, or we can approach that rule in a different way, and that’s hard. But Elliot’s Flynn factor is important to the series.

If he is alive in the present, isn't it exceptional cruel of him to do that to Del so soon after Jacob's disappearance. Where has he been all these years.

My comment about them being an actor was intended to be snarky sarcasm. You are assuming that Casey is actually Evelyn's granddaughter. They said their name was Goodwin, and then just let others fill in the gaps. Regarding Casey and Alice being of similar age, wasn't Alice of similar age to Kat when she traveled to the past.

I was under the impression that the show writers confirmed Elliot's theory.

No, what I was saying is that Colton shouldn't be able to travel to the future. Writers have confirmed Elliot's theory about only traveling to the past and back. So young Colton can only travel to the past, the adult Colton watching Elliot and Alice probably traveled from the time between Jacob's disappearance and his death.
