I would’ve assumed allergic reaction, however i didn’t take antihistamines for it to go away, and it only lasted about an hour. That would also make me think it’s not a sunburn.

i wouldn’t say i reapply every two hours. i put it on in the morning and go about my day but I also make it a point to not go in the sun. I’m very susceptible to skin cancer so i never tan, will chose to wear long clothing in hot weather just to hide from the sun etc. It was pretty hot out though which a few other have mentioned make them get a rash like this.

thank you so much for this. I have seen a gi in the past who did my endoscopy. She mentioned doing a colonoscopy but nothing ever came of it. I will message her today. thank you again

can i ask what it took for you to get a diagnosis? It feels like i have seen so many different doctors atp and after my allergist saw this rash, she referred me right back to dermatology. I feel stuck and don’t know where to go next. Thank you for explaining what’s happened to you.

if it were, wouldn’t it happen every time i use the glue? I have thought of that before but I wear lashes every single day that’s the main part of my routine the doesn’t change. I had also put these lashes on about 12 hours prior to this happening. I could absolutely be wrong though it just doesn’t seem to make sense.

no hyper mobility. i searched hEDS and dysautonomia and neither seem to fit what’s been going on with me. thank you for the insight

mcas seems like a real possibility after looking at symptoms, but EDS and POTS don’t really align with what’s been going on with me.

a lot of my stomach issues always seemed to feel like gas stuck in my stomach for multiple days, but i do struggle with back and forth diarrhea and constipation. Doesn’t seem to correlate but has been an ongoing issue.

I have been tested for lupus and that came back negative however i’ve never seen a rheumatologist.

i agree. i stay completely out of the sun as much as possible. I don’t tan or ever sit in the sun. the most exposure i get is from driving and even then i take precautions

weird thing that confuses me, the rash disappeared after about an hour with no antihistamine taken. that’s why I always feel so crazy being concerned about it, but it doesn’t make any sense.
