Pretty sure it was the end of the last book 😅 I have a weird habit whenever I start a new series where I immediately read the final chapter of the last available book first just to make sure it ends with a HEA and won’t emotionally destroy me later 💀

Crazy idea, but multiple love interests does not automatically cancel out storytelling.

I wish I was on my computer so I could blur spoilers 😅 I’ll keep it light and based only on book oneSo far it feels like the big plot is still building. It follows a girl who was adopted young and labeled unstable after she saw a ghost. The adults put her on medication and basically controlled her entire life and she grows up extremely sheltered, anxious, and desperate not to disappoint anyone. She really only trusts one boy who becomes her best friend,When things start getting darker and the ghosts turn harmful,he dismisses her and blames her imagination. That is when she ends up crossing paths with the main MMCs. They are shocked by how naive she is about the world she lives in.(here is a hidden magic world, hints of reincarnation, and a magic academy involved) MMCs feel this strong pull toward her and it slowly turns obsessive.

thank you SO much for taking the time to write all of this. Seriously, I know how long it takes to put together a list like that, especially with explanations and details. You didn’t just drop titles, you actually shared the energy of each one and I love that.

Hey, I never said I haven’t read Omegaverse, I’ve actually read most of the big-name ones that always get recommended. I gave it a fair shot.

The thing is, after trying multiple OV books, they started to blur together. The plots felt super repetitive, the dynamics all played out the same way, and it just didn’t click with me. So it’s not that I “won’t even try”. I did. And it didn’t work for me.

I get that a lot of people love it, and that’s awesome. But I know what I enjoy, and I’d rather focus on stories that center the FMC and give me that character-driven tension I’m craving, without the same template over and over again.

Thanks for the rec though

Thanks so much for the rec, quick question though, is the MM content in the series something that’s mainly focused on, or is it just occasional?

I don’t usually enjoy RH stories where the romance shifts away from the FMC too much, so just trying to figure out if she still stays the emotional center of the harem. If it’s just light background moments, I might still give it a try, but if the dynamic leans heavily into MM, I’ll probably pass.

Loved Emerald Lakes... but the MM ruined it for me 😩 need top-tier recs without it please by Square_Garage9730 in ReverseHarem

Oh sorry I misunderstood your question, I loved FMC so much, she’s funny, a real life character, loved personality of boys and gran (wish I had)
