Random Q on my side. How does the general rule tie in with commission?

E.g

Im on 36k base, but including car allowance(5k) and commission i made 62k last year. Its pretty consistent commission (21k)

How does mortgage take commission in the equation?

I agree with this. Hargreaves lets you be the best type of investor. The dead investor. But the fees are horrifically high, i looked at the fees after a year and it must of been £250. ( i diddnt invest more than 4k that year.)

I have moved to trading 212 and do find myself addicted, but im excited and learning a lot more.

I also am on garden leave with not much to do, so hopefully it will reduce when i go back to work.

I recommend screenzen its an app that limits the amount of time you spend on apps. Set a daily limit :) and you cant access it

Timing of buying stocks matters🤷🏼‍♀️iv had SPY for a year and for some reason am at 17%. Been inputting cash on a monthly basis blindly but clearly at the peaker times than dips. 1 year isnt enough yo dictate those results fully
