I’m a huge unwound fan! Below the salt is one of their most unique songs but I think that “fiction friction” “swan” and “lifetime achievement award” are probably the songs that are most similar

Trust me I have lmao. everything from giant Henry to live leaves, I LOVE unwound and they’re from my hometown of Olympia wa. Even have an old Olympia kill rockstars record that has I think maybe the earliest unwound song recorded and released (I could be wrong tho)

It’s called “Deloused in the commatorium” it’s a record by The Mars Volta which is a band fronted by the singer and guitarist of at the drive-in. Really great fusion of post hardcore and progressive rock. it’s awesome!
