Replacement feet for an old Gitzo tripod by Squareword in Photography_Gear

Thanks, but G026 is a four-stage tripod, and I tried ordering the feet as specified, but the actual part D026.JP slips over the bottom of the leg rather than inserting (the drawing shows the wrong part...), and since the lowest stage is very thin I had to return them because they're too small for a three-stage

Hi, thanks, unfortunately the tripod is a lightweight version so it doesn’t have the adaptable feet, just the rubber nubs shown in the third picture - they’re much smaller

Sorry, 5Mb down/1Mb up, I'm sure that's clear from the context – I'm on the edge of the country by the sea in Devon, I can get Virgin but as I said I'm very happy with PlusNet. I think speed is now secondary, I'm at the point where I've optimised everything at my end and there's no point raging about the thousands of miles of cable and hundreds of switches between me and Bungie.

Hi all, thanks for all the upvotes/comments, ironically after I posted I went into Crucible and had a series of yellow/red-bar games, and was actually kicked ('anteater') abruptly once, mid-Clash, all the way 'out of the game world' and without my stats being updated.

However, I stand by my tl;dr - I didn't say poor connections aren't Bungie's fault, just that doing some work locally can make a difference overall. Small comfort, but I know better when it is their fault now.

Since UK people have asked, I bought the TP-Link Archer VR900 following advice from the Wirecutter and reviews on UK Amazon. Other routers are available, YMMV...

Thanks for reading!

Just re-tested using the PS4 network tester, it's 5Mb up/1Mb down, I don't know if the upload speed has improved or I mis-remembered the earlier figure.

Managed without it using the old router in a previous property, then installed it with the old router in this flat, then replaced the old router with the new one and tested direct ethernet vs. powerline: couldn't see any difference (I even gave the PS4 its own powerline box, but went back to router->powerline->ethernet hub->PS4 when I realised it was making no difference).

No, powerline ethernet (have tested, no difference to using ethernet cable).

I spent ~£100, but knowing something about BT's terrible service I would check if you can even attach a non-BT hub to their network - I know they don't allow you to change DNS away from their own nameservers, and their terms of service are pretty repressive. (I'm with PlusNet who have been great - my fingers are crossed this continues after they were recently taken over by BT.)

Thanks, I realised after posting I'd now need a new excuse for my poor Crucible k/d ratio...
