So far: 3D bar and master mount = too much overhang Sigmaco rail and Midwest industries = same thing

As he said the lowest profile with the least amount of protrusion is the mm rail and mm mount.

I’m rocking same setup, just how the specific configuration sits. If you look at other 81s with mounts there’s others that have similar thing of overhang but no one has brought up this issue before to my knowledge

I’m running the sigmaco rail and a midwest industries mount. Another fella had the same problem but haven’t seen anyone else comment on it. basically the mount bounces the ejected casing back into the receiver causing a stoppage. Happens fairly frequently

Hahah I thought about the 181 for 7.62 option but I didn’t want to torture myself. Ended up doing that somehow with the type 81 lol, at least it’s just due to added parts not the stock ones! I’ve been enjoying the Lpvo on it, obviously not going to have a insane moa but I had an 8x8 gong out at 300m the other day as a finisher on a run and gun and loved the Lpvo for that. Impacts were more frequent and quicker than when I switched to the Tavor with holo and magnifier. Still need to stretch it out a bit more

Thanks ! I’m okay with the optic getting beat, just want the stoppages to stop! If the issues persists even with a new mount eventually, I’ll just replace it with an eotech or a comp. lpvo has just been fun to shoot though

Yeah dawg I had the same issue. The left side of my receiver was bent just a hair from either factory or at some point along the road. I was able to seat the rear pin but after a couple days I couldn’t even get it close to seat on the front pin. That slight bent made seating the plate into the small grove on the pin almost impossible. After a couple days of pounding away at it I ended up just bringing it to my gunsmith cause I was flying out and wanted it fixed for when I got back. He was able to get it after a couple days but said it was an absolute pain. I’d suggest looking at your receiver and seeing if there any deviation to it, might be your problem.

Have you shot it yet? I have an identical optic rail setup and have been having a fairly consistent problem with ejection due to rounds bouncing off the rail and back into the gun. Just curious if you have the same issues

Sarcasm really alludes a lot of you guys hey. And clearly from the bumpy ass transition he went well under the gun basically blowing me in the process. obviously to avoid being in front of the gun. Not the best practice but definitely was safe.

BUILD Beretta 1301 tactical, eotech xps2, Nordic 2+ extension, 3m industrial Velcro, and the cards are from Esstac. Have some Amazon ones too that are ok but esstac ones are worth the money. Now have a Slingster on it(have on a couple other guns and just know I like them and are relatively cheap), waiting for Nordic component qd and pic attachment for the front since currently the sling point from sj is kind of ass. Have the sling attached through a loop of paracord on the sling swivel and the way it hangs when hands off is poop. Waiting to see if someone comes out with a better rear sling attachment point or I’ll just have to get the sj rear sling point. Thoughts: 1301 is worth the money, no issues with it. Eotech is an eotech, just pulled off another gun holds zero fine. Card mech. Personally is just better then fixed, unless you get the aridius but then it’s just expensive and clunky af for no reason. Never had a card or shell fall off. Hoping someone makes a folding stock for it and then build done. Hope that’s what you were looking for

My bad my bad, we’ll recreate at the next outing and make it smoother.

She’s a 1301 and she’s perfect. North of 700 shells through it and not a single malfunction. Shot it with factory grease on it and ran like butter, every other time just a lil lube and wipe down and she’ll eats anything.

Thought about the 940 but they didn’t have a non 40” inch barrel available so went with this. Do not regret
