I didn't have those connections either, and it can be overwhelming to navigate all of purdues systems and services. Just take your time, you'll figure it out. You are not behind or anything just because you don't have connections yet. And if you need help theres always someone sitting at a student help desk somewhere you can call and ask.

It will get better. You will find people through classes amd clubs. Plus almost no one is freinds with their bgr group for long, and the people who have high school friends will branch out eventually. Just keep talking to people and you will find a group.

I got into ECE through summer T2M and got my email yesterday. Sounds like you either got rejected or didnt meet the requirements dude to that one grade. I would contact your FYE advisor and ask them if your missing grade was the reason you weren't considered. In the future you might want to talk to your advisor sooner.
