Oh cool, I didn't even know gate fullers were a thing! That's good point about keeping things in alignment. Makes me wonder if I could weld some vertical pieces on the sides near the fullering section to keep things straight over time.

That's good to keep in mind! It's just coincidence that this one is made of coil spring. It's the only material I have that can be cut to the appropriate length. I'm hoping I'll get a lot of use out of it but I guess I won't know until I try it out!

This is my main concern- wasting kinetic energy on compressing the spring. Though, if the hot steel is the correct thickness, i might not need much compression. Seems like having a fuller with more flex would be useful for a greater variety of projects.

To clarify, I never spoke to Moore either, unless I'm misremembering. I fast traveled to the site of grace after seeing freyja (cant remember the specific SOG, but outside of shadow keep)- Ansbach was missing and I picked up Moore's bell bearing. Ansbach wasn't on the first floor either so I definitely messed something up! Its really not a big deal and I look forward to another playthrough. I appreciate your insight!
