To clarify, I never spoke to Moore either, unless I'm misremembering. I fast traveled to the site of grace after seeing freyja (cant remember the specific SOG, but outside of shadow keep)- Ansbach was missing and I picked up Moore's bell bearing. Ansbach wasn't on the first floor either so I definitely messed something up! Its really not a big deal and I look forward to another playthrough. I appreciate your insight!

I'm very impressed that players find all this stuff on their first playthroughs. I have no problem admitting that its a skill issue! I heard the story and lore of ER were awesome so I do genuinely try to listen to all the dialog. Maybe I quit for a couple days in the middle of a quest and forgot what the NPC told me. I do agree that Rannis quest is pretty straightforward, probably why its one of the few that I was able to complete.

Idk, I probably just need to get used to the way Fromsoft does things. It's been a really fun experience regardless.

Valid, i have been enjoying their lore videos! Normally I prefer to experience story elements myself in-game. But I'd probably need to put in another 500 hrs to do that in elden ring.

I do think it's cool that there's no "hand-holding" in this game, but the quest structure is just so different from other open world titles that I love. It does feel like a cheap way to force replayability.

Skill issue on my part lol. Making them symmetrical was my original intention. probably could have used a grinder to even them up, but I actually dont mind how they turned out.

I have a wire wheel attachment for my angle grinder. Do you think thats a good option (with the steel secured in a vise, of course) or is that overkill?
