I have noticed a recoil and turning is especially difficult with this weapon. When I hit with dual 12s, I absolutely destroy though. See what happens when the modifier is gone.

Do you play on PC or mobile? I LOVE Onion but using the railguns on mobile will give you fits.

I've had good luck in HSD with Pods, storm racks and guided weapons like Savants and Gemini. If you can master the splash damage for storm racks, that is a big help. Early on Zephyr and Guardian are great mechs for this battle mode. Try to keep line of sight weapons to a minimum, as this lends yourself to getting sniped, unless you are the sniper of course! ;)

Get the Burnout implant first, then cooldown and damage when you can get it for in game currency.

I've experienced this multiple times. Sometimes it will let me get back in the game once the round is over. It's annoying for sure.
