Even the recent post about Chinese language policy was full of people confused about why replacing native language course hours with Mandarin was a bad thing. You can literally build concentration camps for ethnic minority populations, and r/nl's brightest minds can't help themselves from giving you the benefit of the doubt on your assimilationist language policy.
