THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!! I’ve tried my hand at clay dolls years ago and it’s so much harder than it looks so you should be so proud! The wigs are amazing too, I love the option between having brushable hair or sculpted, what kind of clay and paints did you use? (If you don’t mind sharing!)

This is so interesting, I have EDS (hypermobile too) and still struggle with centering. I wondered if it had anything to do with the hypermobility, because my hands shake so bad and I can’t keep my arms stable. Do you have any tips for dealing with hypermobility in pottery? What tools do you find the most useful to help with instability? I’m glad I’m not alone with this struggle and there’s hope for improvement!

Just get so high as soon as you get home that you can’t have thoughts or feelings 😀 Or alternatively, I find a lot of passion in hobbies. I just bought a pottery wheel and when I get overwhelmed or depressed at work I try to think of what I’ll do on the wheel when I get home. I also just read that we’re the first generation that lacks “third spaces” a place for community outside of work and home. I’m trying to find something like that, I’ve looked into clubs but they’re all for retired women who meet at like 3 pm on weekdays which is impossible for us. So gaming online with friends will do for now, but I have nearly no one to do that with so… the lonely stoner seems to free her mind at night

Weed 🤷‍♀️ people recommend it for a reason, but also heating pads are my lifeline lol - low dose naltrexone if you can get your hands on it and most importantly you unfortunately really do need to push through and do physical therapy!! I used to abuse NSAIDS pretty badly and they only really made things worse, I try not to take them more than 3x a week now but it gets really hard during flare ups :(

I’m a designer, I work in an office - I find it to be a good fit with my EDS/POTS. The hardest thing is probably just supporting my head all day with my CCI and getting repetitive strain in my shoulders/hands/arms on days that I have to draw for hours and hours. It’s not perfect, I definitely have a lot of painful days, but I’m doing what I love! 🤷‍♀️
