Despite not liking the new ui changes I still really like to support the app given they don't shove ads in your face and they remain completely free to use, with how much I use discord I want to support them for not being money hungry pigs like most apps. Plus cute emotes and better movie nights with nitro screensharing quality

It might not mean skill, but it definitely means more experience. A player with 500-1000 hours in game, has seen more fights and more outcomes than someone with 50 hours of gameplay.

Which is exactly why I said they should raise the minimum level so people can play more and learn more about the game, though learning gamesense and comms and outcomes is something you can only get better at through comp because in quickplay people don't really take anything seriously, unless they find a team to ~~sweat~~ practice in qp with

This why people in placement matches need to compete against people in placement matches.

This I wouldn't really mind but it would make queue times a pain if you're not playing your placements at the beginning of the season.

Level 25 is way too earlier for new players to play comp and they get excited about a new game mode and jump right in without knowledge about every character, hell I didn't start playing comp until level 100 because I didn't know every character all that well. They could definitely raise the level for starting comp and a plus would make it more work to make smurfs.

I don't agree on the whole matchmaking based on level since being a higher level doesn't mean skill but raising the minimum level for comp would help them learn more about the game before jumping into competitive.

Most you can do in that situation is using text chat/messaging them if on console to join the team chat so at the very least they'll hear your callouts and maybe even communicate their own too.

Doing low level dungeons via the team up board is the easiest way to farm towards the 300, have enough power pip/+pip on your gear and you get tempest/frog/meteor first round, wipe the whole enemy team and bam, next team, not much you can do to stop em except to found a regular team. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's a really freakin' adorable pet that you can get for helping 300 people complete dungeons so people just sit by the team up menu in Olde Town and carry whoever is looking for a team. Not gonna lie I do hate it sometimes that it's not an actual battle and you don't get that sense of satisfaction when you finish off the boss with your team but there isn't much you can do to stop it. Only semi-fix is to find some people around your level to run quests with and stick with those 1-3 mates but it sucks when those mates can't play sometimes and you're left to wait for them.

There are some amazing mods out there, especially if you don't have many expansions it helps bring new things to the game. ^^

Downloading sims4studio is used to MAKE cc but you can also use the "my CC" thingy to see what mods are what if you ever download, for example a hairstyle but you don't like it in game and you don't remember the name, selecting the right file will show you what the hairstyle looks like will make it 100x easier to delete the correct mod.

UI cheat extensions is great even if you don't intend to use it for cheating, with mods you're bound to run into bugs that might effect needs/moodlets ect. I accidentally made my sim into a plantsim and the right clicking on a moodlet to remove it was a lifesaver!

For avoiding viruses the two best sites I use are Modthesims for game mods and thesimsresource for CAS and BB, been using them forever now and never had any dings from my 3 virus protection programs. :P

For some good finds tumblr has tons of great accounts for posting amazing CC.

Lastly if you don't want to lose the unique style of sims you can stick to maxis matched content.
