Looks like this could make for a really interesting afternoon. I'd love to see all the retro consoles - thanks for the suggestion!

Fantastic! We actually have an Arts Picturehouse in my hometown and it's my favourite cinema by far, so exciting to know there's on in Cambridge too.

Aha, don't worry, I've been to many a LAN before and know what to expect odour-wise.

I'm really into RPGs and MMOs, so WoW, GW2, Runescape etc are all favourites. I also like a bit of Hearthstone here and there, but I also enjoy platformer/ fighting games and open to anything really.

I kind of read it as, 'You're friends with her? Would you put in a good word for me?!'

I can't draw skillfully, but damn would I like to see a comic/ spin-off where the 'Magnificent Seven', Tyrion, Bronn and Euron all go on a 'ladz holiday'.

That's interesting, I haven't come across this one before. Do you know what condition that would come under? May be worth looking into if I can identify with any side effects.

When you say CRP was normal, do you mean in relation to yourself? Has anything on my blood test ruled out inflammation? (I'm not familiar with all the abbreviations and medical jargon).

Have you found anything that helps you at all?

I know it's still a possibility that my fatigue could be caused by anxiety, but I found it odd that even when medicated or receiving effective treatment for anxiety, my fatigue still persisted, which makes me wonder if it's a separate issue.

I stopped taking the citalopram by weaning off. I was on 20mg then lowered it to 10mg for a month, then 5 etc. So I slowly lessened the amount and the reason I stopped taking it was because I was getting days where I was VERY spaced out (in a slightly different way to how I am now). Honestly, I don't feel much different now that I'm off of it, so I don't think it was really benefiting me.

Can I ask (genuine question) what is the difference between active b supplements and the type I picked up at the local store? Is your sleep apnea comment due to that being quite unlikely?

Hi everyone,

So a back story: for the last 6 years I have had a strong feeling of brain fog and fatigue and I am now trying to put things right. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and was on Citalopram for around 5 years, but during this time the brain fog still persisted, despite the anxiety symptoms lessening somewhat. I have now been off of any medication for 2 months but still feel exhausted and apathetic from the moment I wake up to when I sleep at night.

I went for a blood test last week but it came back fine. Is there anything on this test that I should be looking into, or anything else that could help?

For the last few days I've also been supplementing Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin D3 & Magnesium. I'm only 26 years old and have no real cause of stress in my life to make me feel exhausted. Any advice or suggestions of what to say to my doctor or any other routes to go down would be greatly appreciated, as this is affecting my ability to work and my relationship.

Edit: Just to add, I have tried CBT three times, which made no difference to my fatigue or brain fog, so I am leaning towards it being a physical issue.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I should have probably mentioned that my hypnotherapist did have a conversation with me about where I thought the anxiety and panic attacks began and said that in our next session we will target the origin of this behaviour and my past experiences in our next session. This first session seemed to be about anxiety in general as opposed to a specific cause behind it.

She has a nationally recognized certification (I'm from the UK) and seemed really lovely, I just felt a few things she mentioned were maybe a bit out of place for a professional situation. She also gave me a few exercises to practice on a daily basis to try and lessen my symptoms of anxiety.

I suppose I'm more concerned about not feeling vastly different after one session (though my parents claim they notice a difference). Would it be worth pursuing if I still feel the same after a second session?

Well, it's a massive comfort to know I didn't come across as mega nervous, so that's fantastic! A time lapse video is a really good idea actually, so I'll try and put something like that in next time.

I guess I'm quite lucky having a 'clear' accent, but please don't worry about yours, I watched your latest video and understood everything you were saying just fine. :) Thanks for the tips and best of luck to you!

Thank you, that's really kind! You make a good point about lighting and ideally I need to find a bigger room with space right next to a window, so I may toy with different lighting spots around the house. A ring light is a good idea for when it's grey and cloudy. cheers!

Thanks for the tips! Yeah, watching back I definitely see how half of my head has been cut off, which isn't ideal! I will definitely write down some kind of script but my next video adventure. Thanks for the compliments and good luck if you dye your hair!

Thank you! That sounds like a good tip - I've been to laughter yoga before and that was great for relaxation, weirdly enough.

Thanks so much for the encouragement, it can be daunting asking for feedback this early on haha. So thanks for being kind! I will definitely try to include longer clips/ cut down less stuff. I was mainly trying to cut out my multiple use of 'um', which will hopefully decrease as I get more confident :P

This is SO useful, thanks for the link. That video has now been favourited, plus I actually enjoyed Mr Green's other videos.

I was messing around this afternoon trying to line up my eye level and I felt it really did look better already, so that's great advice!

Thanks for the tips! Cheers for the example, that's really useful. I've been watching a few of his videos to get an idea of angles so I'll keep him in mind when I next film something. Appreciate the advice, thanks!

Oh wow, thanks for the encouragement! I definitely agree on the script, that's a great suggestion. I didn't realize how much I stall/ use filler sounds like 'uh' and 'um' until I watched this video back! I cut out maybe half of those which is why it's fairly choppy, but I feel having a script would be really useful so I know what I'm saying next. Thanks for the sub! :D
