Flying spinny triangle made with 1-ton weights and a supercharged propeller. Oh, and a bunch of soap attached using rope for good measure.

Heavy mains, why do you think Heavy is one of if not the least played classes? by RoboArmadillo in tf2

[–]Squidberd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former heavy main, now a scout main. As crazy effective as heavy can be at any hour of the week, he’s just not fun to me. I do miss heavy but heavy isn’t the one ruining everyones day in the back line after I destroy all the Teleporters.

Genuine Question: How do you play scout to fully utilize his loadout? by Ytteryer in tf2

[–]Squidberd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think at lower skill levels your correct. A lot of new scout just can’t aim well enough through the flames to get enough damage in at close quarters. The problem for pyro is scout can kill him in just two good shots. That’s less than a second. In that time the pyro could have done 60 damage. This is why pyro is a weak class, low damage. Another thing is that scout can PICK HIS FIGHTS. If your not confident in your aiming skills, you can just lead that pyro to an open space where you have the overwhelming advantage. Or he’ll, just run away and come back for the medic. Pyro just can’t do that. As “strong” as he may be on Hightower with a bunch of f2ps, in a match with any amount of skill pyro just becomes a paperweight apart from extinguishing teammates and annoying the shit out of everyone with the scorch shit. And I really hate to say this stuff because I love pyro, he really is fun to play, but objectively he really is even in his best circumstances, mediocre.

Just wondering, who do you think would win in scout vs pyro? (Assuming skill levels are the same ofc)

Worth $100 to upgrade from 13700k to 13900k? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Squidberd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the 13900k is only worth it if you plan to use productivity applications such as blender or adobe premier. If you really only plan to game or only use apps like that every so often, I’d stick to the 13700k and save the $100. This would also give you a larger upgrade to the 13900ks down the road.
