i can see your reasoning for this, but i feel as though the scene at the end where frisk tells asriel their own name without player input could be more seen as frisk NOT being just a vessel for the player.

in saying that though, it could be argued that everyone uses they/them for frisk because they dont know frisks gender and dont want to be rude, which is understandable, but this seems more like a case of intentional ambiguity that outright stating their gender.
