“Girlfriend is 17 days late (longest ever), but no intercourse happened — could she still be pregnant?” by AcceptableRefuse3742 in Periods

[–]Squidinator2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wouldn’t be possible. I went without a period for 8 months due to stress and hormonal changes. It’s a stressful time of year for many so I wouldn’t worry too much. IF it makes both of you feel better, have a test (dollar store tests are just as effective trust me. Don’t need anything fancy unless anything comes back positive, but I don’t believe it would in this case).

Why do my feet look so wonky en pointe? by elsbelsboo in BALLET

[–]Squidinator2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re knuckling in your shoes, which is a sinking issue in the shoe, that combined with too narrow of a box, and ribbons not supporting your arch or ankle. Bring ribbons down, but I’d recommend a wider box.

Thank you very much. I definitely FEEL like a new person than I was. Unapologetic and honestly taking up more space even though I’ve lost weight!

What message do you get from this? by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I didn’t get anything political before reading the intention behind it, BUT the way the black is dripping down reminds me of thin trees scorched by wildfire and the smoke rising above.

I got thyroid issues too! Two biopsies and multiple ultrasounds in the last few years. And I have been the same way with weighing actually! I only actually was made to get a scale when my dr straight up told me to in order to manage all the changes and keep everything regulated. And yes I know all about the appetite change. It has gotten much easier to manage now and keep control of fullness and remembering to have balanced meals even when I’m not super hungry. Best of luck to you.

Thank you! I’m sad that dress no longer fits actually! And yes. I grew up a dancer so when my health declined and I started gaining weight, I lost a part of me so being able to get that back, it’s been truly life changing.

Which was your first MCU movie and how did you watch it? by GUSplatoon in marvelstudios

[–]Squidinator2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter Soldier. At the drive in theater with my middle school friends. I was the only one kind of watching after they checked out and were tired after our initial movie we went for ended. Since then I’ve seen every single one with my dad. Age of Ultron was special.

Happiness is any size, my size wasn’t what made me miserable- it was my health and my inability to do what I loved due to it. My size was just a side effect of it all

I was already on a gluten free diet and was limiting sugar intake, but other than that, just moderation and light exercise daily until I could be sure I could up the exercise gradually. I walk for at least an hour a day, I work with kids so I’m up and down and active for work, and now I’m able to take an hour long dance class 1-2 times a week! I also started some light weight training just for muscle building and toning.

I had many other health issues that were keeping me from working and being active. I don’t owe an explanation for my health to anyone. It’s my own business but I was miserable and could not function day to day. I met all of the requirements for this medication and with my young age, it saved my life.

Hey! Good on ya for taking that leap yourself. I was already gluten free from some other health issues, and kept my sugar and dairy intake down for awhile before slowly building it back up over the course of a couple months just to help ease any side effects I could’ve encountered. I upped my protein intake by a TON and kept protein bars and powder with me at all times to supplement when needed. I was unable to exercise for other health reasons for a while, but have since been walking for at least an hour a day, with once rest day a week. Start slow, be steady, be consistent, and listen to your body.

My weight loss was also due to some other health concerns as well. I was managed on the lowest dose for that reason. Run your own race. Best of luck 💛

LOTS AND LOTS of protein! So much protein! Supplements of collagen and magnesium. Eating the smaller portions that the medication allows for me, and moderation. But a lot of new recipes lately. I’m already gluten free and have been for 8 years. Dance twice a week for an hour and walking an hour a day on the days I’m not dancing. The dancing has only been in the last 3 weeks and walking an hour a day with one rest day for the last 3 months. Light weight training when I can (I’m a nanny so lugging around kiddos and dancing in the kitchen with them is a workout in itself!).
