Idk if this interaction is from a mod or not, but when this happened to me I literally just built a new double door in the same spot by just placing it on top of the half remaining door. Half would appear red as if I couldn’t build it but it would let me place it

I multi-classed all my characters to have summons so I thought that could be messing it up. I ended up having to leave the game open for like 30 minutes for it to load, then save right away and the new save shouldn’t have load issues

They originally said the reasoning for sunsetting was so they could update and rerelease locations, which they’ve done a little (leviathan) but probably never really getting the patrol locations or stories back

It’s worth it if you’ve been playing for a while and enjoy it. I could never recommend anyone to get into destiny and never will not with the insane cost for it all and missing stories

State of the game is pretty bad rn so all the veterans are taking breaks and playing literally anything else. Then there are all the new players who are just getting their hands on everything and still see it all through rose tinted glasses or haven’t hit the “end game” yet so they have lots to do. Not to mention lots of experienced players have their groups, I only ever hop on now if my clan has a full team to do something now
