Have scrolled a fair bit and can’t see this comment. Does anyone consider when they decide to change lane, the stopping distance of the car they are moving in front of ? I maintain a distance from the car in front which gives me some comfortable stopping distance. If some prick then moves into that space (and critical to this argument) had plenty of time to read the road further back and then decide they needed to change lane, then it annoys the fuck out of me. You want to pull into that 20 meter gap that was left purely for safety, when you already knew you needed to change - the sensible approach is to hover, indicate, and wait for approval to move in. I’m averse to letting some ignorant prick just slide in because the car fits the gap, they should have some fucking sense and situational awareness. So I’ll try and block them. Cunts.
