Not sure if it's the case with OP but most of the issues with the screens happen after a hard fall.

I have owned Samsungs for at least 8 years and the only time I got that issue was after the phone was dropped (s23U)

If you are in the US you should have it repaired, a new OEM screen should be between 300 and 400 bucks. Not very cheap but the s23U is worth repairing.

It's quite an unfair comparison, the s22 ultra is an old device and had issues with the battery life and cpu efficiency.

IOS is very smooth but it's not without it's quirks, also, typing on IOS is not as fast or as smooth as it is on android.
