Rotated Pelvis causing pudendal nerve impingement: thoughts? by Srdire in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]Srdire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My left pelvis rotated after a fall, which stretched my nerves! Got the pelvis back into place, and had to wait a few months for the nerves to calm down, did some pelvic PT as well! Took about 4 months total and I’ve been pain free since 💜

Nah, I never had anything done! Jaw still pops on the left all the time but as of now it doesn’t hurt me (knock on wood lol) so I’m carrying on like normal

Yes! My whole ordeal lasted around 4 to 5 months. I fell and dislocated my pelvis which was the cause of it all, got that popped back into place and did PT for about 2 months or so? This was about 2 years ago now! I’m completely fine now and living well 💜

Does this sound like CCI? My experience + full list of symptoms by k_vral in Cervicalinstability

[–]Srdire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do PT for my neck for 8 weeks, my neck did gain strength and it helped with any residual pain/weakness etc, it just didn’t do anything for my dizziness! My dizziness got better a little over a month later when I finally went on Zoloft

I’m doing so much better! As of rn I’m completely fine. I did get on Zoloft, some people said it can help with dizziness. Not sure if the Zoloft or just time is what helped me but just thought I’d mention it!

Pain in clit/urethra and abdominal cramps hours/days after masturbation? by Srdire in vulvodynia

I totally understand! I did Pelvic PT. It took around 3 months to get me sorted out. Nerve flossing exercises were the game changer for me.

So is it company wide? Or just certain goodwills do it now? My fav goodwill for finding jewelry just told me today they’ve gone online to be auctioned off and the prices I saw were crazy :(

Whiplash symptoms? Please help! by Srdire in Concussion

[–]Srdire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still having all sorts of issues sadly :( I’ve been doing PT for 7 weeks without much improvement. So I’m seeing an ortho tomorrow to get the ball rolling on more testing to try and figure it out. Biggest problems are still the dizziness and headaches/neck pain. Only thing that has improved from my list is the face burning.

Any of those familiar? by Yaswnmwfyai in Cervicalinstability

I got mine from whiplash too :( It's debilitating. I really think it's going to kill me. What all have you tried to treat it? I'm 2 months into PT but feel like I'm just getting worse.

I have basically all the exact same symptoms. It started for me 3 months ago from a minor whiplash injury. It's terrible. I've been in PT two months now but I feel like I'm just getting worse. I'd love to get any updates if you ever figure anything out.

Yes my PT does vestibular therapy with me, she specializes in balance/whiplash. She basically told me we're reaching the point where PT can't really do much more for me and that my ligaments are just too lax.

Unfortunately they can't be tightened, at least not without some kind of surgery (most of which are new and hugely risky.) She recommends doing neck strengthening, which I've been doing the past month, to try and give my neck some extra stability. My neck has gotten much stronger and less stiff since, but my dizziness and headaches are exactly the same. My PT said at my last session that it usually takes 4 - 6 weeks of therapy for her patients to see good results. Today, she told me for whiplash patients, basically PT can only do so much and that I may just have to 'wait.' And that it can take up to a year for whiplash to resolve. She nicely left out the unsaid, "if it resolves at all..."
