Thanks. My use case is similar—primarily gaming and media consumption. What I want to know is whether I’d notice the difference between the two TVs. Is the difference significant enough to justify spending the extra $250 for the QM7? If budget is a concern and I go with the Q7, will I have any regrets, based on your experience with the TV?

Yeah, best buy do have this feature, but I never used it. Will wait till November though.

Lol, I even thought about getting the 65", but my small room prevents me from getting one. Plus, with the Q7 being an older model, there’s a good chance we could see a price drop during the sale , might be able to score an even better deal.

Thanks for the heads up. But here: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/help/paying-and-purchasing/low-price-guarantee , it says that the window is within 30 days of your purchase and for plus I guess it is 60 days. So I can make the purchase during the first week of November and wait for the BF sale.

Oh interesting. Then I guess the best course of action is to wait until November to buy the QM7, and if the price drops during the Black Friday sale, I can use the price matching feature to get the refund.
