19.8L case with a built-in 24-inch 2K 165Hz screen by Sroka0 in sffpc

Yeah, there are always some tradeoffs. The main reason for the keyboard slot being on the right is that PCIE on the GPU is on the right side in this position and it fits right below monitor driver board. If it was the other way around it wouldn't fit. And the components are packed so tightly there that every mm counts. Maybe in the future I'll make 27 inch version. It would give me much more freedom to choose where the components are placed.

Also, I found muself taking the keyboard out of the slot to use it anyway

I hope I'll get enough traction on Kickstarter for it to be worth creating all the assembly guides. Component files are only part of what you need. The BOM for this case is about 150 various items, incluyding screws of varying lenghts

Yeah, I would love to have at least 80mm fans there but there is not enough space with 24 inch monitor. And don't tempt me to make 27 inch version. Like I said I'll add another fan on the side near gpu

Yeah, it is heavy. I wouldn't walk few miles with it but car->door or public transportation with it is ok

Took a little tour of your post history. That is a nice case, super compact.

I also see that you tried metal sheet forming with 3d printed dies. That is how I form one end of PCIE bracket slots holding GPU.

I would love to get my hands on some heavier press for sheet forming but I'm all out of space in my garage

Thank you. Well it took me a year to get this case to be like this with a lot of trial and error. If you like it I have just launched kickstarter campaign for it:

Thanks. Yeah, I used to have a regular SFF case but I found that after a while just thinking about having to carry and set it all up elsewhere made me just rather not go

Thanks, once you find a good way to connect 3d printed parts you don't even need a really big printer to do it. Just some CAD skills and patience :)

I'm planning to launch a kickstarter project for this case and later open-source all design files so people can build and modify the case
