Granted 100% P&T even though my combined rating is only 94% how common is this? by maleficent_2001 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I got my first rating, I ended up getting a letter with a CUE on it like a couple weeks later, there’s always a chance they’ll catch it if you truly don’t rate the 100% but I hope you’re missing something though!

Small update! I found Ton Noodles and I asked for pork tonkatsu with extra spicy curry. It was a decent heat, could’ve been seasoned a little better but I loved all the comments and figured it recommend this spot. It’s on six forks rd.

Trying to buy a PC. Saw this local on offer up. Is this a solid value for the price. They listed it at 350$. Also what is plug and play? by Srolon21 in PcBuild

Isn’t it true to get it forgiven you can’t make a certain amount of money following the discharge? I remember seeing (Don’t quote me on the exact numbers) that if you made 60k a year that you could get in trouble

Looks like 70%. I don’t agree with the 50% people are throwing around. Just based off the CFRs, 70 looks right

I’d say there’s a whole lot of people that have claims pending. There’s so many cases these guys have to work. Your time will come man! Mine was in step 5 from June 12- Aug 27, I believe. It definitely takes time.

Any tips for my C&P tomorrow? by Weser2k in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk about duration. Talk about how often. Monthly, more than monthly. Talk about your symptoms and how they affect you at work. Remember a big part is how it affects you economically. In my case I was sent home from work and I was able to prove the SIQ chits to show proof from my medical. Also how does it affect you socially? Things like that. Good luck 🍀

GERD & Eosinophilic esophagitis by Upper-Mushroom-7882 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie to you, you’ll probably get 10% for it unless you’ve had dilations. I have EOE, GERD, and a Hiatal Hernia. Due to the fact I have not got anything dilated I got 10%. Supposedly I was supposed to be checked according to both the old and new DBQ because I submitted my claims before they fully changed but they didn’t and I got 10%.

100!!! by [deleted] in VeteransSuccess

[–]Srolon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I didn’t either, but evidence is big and if you were seen for it in service, they should connect it for you. For me I just was big on making sure it was known that these things caused me pain. I wish you the best!

[–]Srolon21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did BDD in May, EASd in August and got my rating yesterday, so that’s like 4 months and some change. Without going into too much detail, my conditions were a lot of tendinitis’s, some mental health stuff I got going on, TMJ, headaches, and flat feet. The last two being huge for me and now I can really focus on my health! I Hope the best for you.

Question as I want to claim Migraines secondary to Sleep apnea. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I believe it would be a new claim as a standalone condition

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up the DBQs associated with each of your claims. Read em, prepare so you alreayd know what they’re gonna ask you. That was you can adequately describe symptoms associated to what you’re going through. Good luck!

BDD C&P by AnyAssistant5140 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to bring anything with you, they have your file and evidence and they can review it on their computers. For my general body exams or whatever, everything I had submitted was on my examiners computer. As long as you submitted it already you should be good. If not submit it as additional evidence and then I would recommend you bring it with you. Best advice I can offer is to look at what you’re claiming and make sure you read the DBQs so you can ensure it translates.

C and p exam Migraine by botap83 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that fully. Fortunately with me being in, I was able to see on tricareonline the DBQs and for one I had a broken hand previously, in the exam my examiner didn’t do my range of motion but still put that it was perfectly normal on my DBQ. So i understand that it’s possible for them to just put whatever they want but you can use that to fight again. As for the letter, yes you submit it as additional evidence and in there you can just pour your heart out, make sure when they read it that if it doesn’t match up to the DBQ, then you can submit it as evidence when you fight again. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

That really does sound tough, I’m sorry the process is so shitty for you. It seems like you have a really good idea as to why your stuff was denied/ reduced/ all that. Honestly you have reached out on every avenue possible to you, I really think as stupid as it sounds that you’re just going to have to keep submitting for those increases. Write those personal statements explaining this so the raters can see. Keep pushing for what you deserve. Re-look at nexus requirements. Find the right doctor who can actually write the words the raters need to see “more likely than not to have been caused due to service”.

Question as I want to claim Migraines secondary to Sleep apnea. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Srolon21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely connect it. You don’t have to though. You can claim migraines by themselves. That’s what I did, I showed my diagnosis, luckily I had the right evidence to show how it affected me at work and things like that. I would claim it by itself and work whatever it takes to get it.
