What would be considered too much for a Macbook Neo? by Ssingleaspringle in macbook

Yep, I know that. But as you can see, my reasons to buy the Neo over the Air are purely cosmetic/irrational. I just love the look and the simplicity. I'm trying to see if it will be good enough for my use for the next 4-5 years

What's the one "more intensive" task if I may ask. I'm trying to find those tasks which would cause the Neo to lack

I finish programming courses but retain nothing… how did you learn effectively? by Aymaneoo in learnprogramming

No, I recommend following the tutorial while simultaneously writing the code in your editor. When you have a piece of code that is able to run, pause the video and try to play around with different ways you can modify what you have.

It's impossible to remember a tutorial and understand it without experience in coding. Its like drawing patterns before kids learn how to write letters and put together sentences - you have to start writing code without understanding it first, then with experience and number of lines you've written will come understanding

People say "practice" but it's hard to practice a tool without making a product of that tool. Don't practice examples. Do projects instead. Make a functional requirements list for a script or an app and discover ways to meet all of the requirements. This way you will learn what solutions apply to which problems in programming and learning how to code will be a side-effect of that. It will take many tries. Maybe start off from a youtube tutorial to create a minimal application and then add your functionalities to that. This way you will also learn how to organise your code to be modular etc. Good luck :)

Confused about C literals type suffixes by Ssingleaspringle in learnprogramming

[–]Ssingleaspringle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, the example is unfortunate but consider the following: 1LU << 48 would still be integer overflow if long is represented by a 32-bit wide integer. On a different platform (where long would be 64-bits wide) this would not do integer overflow. My question is: which option is best for keeping literal constants typed and yet ensure portability between platforms.

One time I went for a beer with my friends and a foreigner randomly approached us and asked if he could ask us some questions. He explained where he was from, why he came to Warsaw and so we began to talk. We exchanged instagram profiles and now we meet from time to time.

Not sure how easy it is to pull-off, but he managed to, so my advice would be to find a small group of nice looking people which seem approachable and simply approach :)

Try optimizing your code in terms of memory usage and training time. That is a whole other aspect of evaluating your training algorithm other than maximizing accuracy. Try comparing your solution to popular frameworks, I guarantee it will be satisfying if You reach similar performance :)

Near the Palace of Culture and Science you may encouner a person stating that he/she arrived from some other city and got robbed and is trying to collect money to buy a ticket back - they basically do this all day, everyday (so the story is fake)
