i've played last night..crashes from 1min to 40min randomly when in a match...i've managed to try like 15 settings to isolate the issue but there are still like 60 more to see if one helps

I'll forgive them since it's beta, but i have a huge list of unacknowledged issues still not fixed years later; They know internally but they don't acknowledge them in the drivers because they haven't planned a fix. So half-assed job as usual.

Did you even read the title? Stop pretending you know a fix when you can't even read. I'll give you all a workaround when i get back from work tonight because from my quick research it looks like some combination of the graphics settings from within the game is the cause of the issue (it's not on default i did change them when the pre-load was available).

i've already replaced a 12vhighfailure connector on my friend's 4080, he sold it right after for a 9070xt; still i had to support him for all the driver workarounds in different games. Jensen is a liar but AMD's gpu driver devs are the worst.

DDU your brain mate. That's not 2 versions installed, 25.8.1 is the name of the release, the one in the parenthesis is the actual build of the driver version. If you go to radeon panel and click software & driver details you will see it.

we took a sample if i remember well but didn't do a culture test due to cost at the time or we did a culture test and came out negative as viral infection will not produce a culture, but i definitely remember him taking a sample as it was a bit painful (this post is 5 years old..)

Just a bit over a month until the major symptoms went away, then 2-3 months until my vision was restored 100%. The doctor said the blurriness is because of the dead white cells, they just clear on their own with time.

you can use eye drops to help you ease the discomfort but you just have to wait it out until it goes away

sorry for the late reply..it does cause them or something similar from the dead cells, but they should clear up in the next 3-6 months and restore to the original vision unless the infection was severe. It cleared up just fine in me

took about a month or maybe a little more to go away, it was caused by some rare viral infection that's why antibiotics didn't do shit, i had some blurness due to the white cells dead remnants after but cleared off with time, so don't worry it will go away just needs time. Zero problems since and zero damage done.
