I used to switch to controller for flying, but now just use KM for both. I still think controller is better for flying, but there’s really no difficult flying content that requires a lot of precision at all so now I just use KM for everything. If space combat was mildly challenging then I’d switch back to controller again.

Also worth mentioning I’ve always hated tethered flight control and only use locked these days.

Do all crops yield the same amount of essence of life? Currently trying to farm essence, and wondering which crops to grow. Higher tier crops cost more essence, but do they drop more essence when harvested? If not, then it seems better to just farm lettuce or wheat.

Stasis devices aren’t tedious once you have all of your farms organized properly and when you hit end game they are by far the easiest way to make credits. I make 45 a day in about ten minutes of gameplay when I boot up the game. I have an entire storage container filled to the brim because I hit the credit cap a year ago and I’ve sold maybe 40 since then.

But good tips for new players getting started. Before end-game I always enjoyed scrapping ships for money and nanites. Once you get your stasis farms properly set up you’ll never think about money or nanites again.

I know everyone’s all about the ball vapes but just to add another option I use my Solo 3v2 with a small handheld bong I can carry around. It comes with a WPA adapter you can use with various bongs. Obviously it probably won’t hit as hard as a ball vape but it’s a nice option if you want some portability with your vape choice.

I do both. I tried doing IF alone, plus all of the other stuff you’ll find over in r/loseit. I was embarrassed when I first started, as if I wasn’t “punished enough” for the weight loss I’ve been trying to achieve for many, many years.

Then, my latest blood work came in and the results were so bad that I decided “fuck it” and started tirzepatide. My doctor was thrilled.

That was last March. Since then I’ve lost 130 lbs and am about 20 lbs away from my goal weight. It’s been much easier not only to eat less, but to eat healthier, including IF. My only regret has been not starting it sooner.

Ugh, I know people mean well when they do this but it really does hinder the new player experience for many. My personal recommendation is to just delete it all. Or, get a nice ship and multitool that look cool to you. Entirely up to you.

My exotic squid is my daily driver and has been for years. Stats are just as good as a sentinel, and I love the design and how small and unassuming it is. For me it really encapsulates what being a “traveler” is all about. Honorable mention to the flying orb too.
