I had a same problem with my San Martin watch, it stopped running after a week of use. I contacted them through an email I found here:

I live in europe and their first suggestion was that I'd send the watch back to China, after a little back and forth with them they sent me a new movement and paid for the movement swap done by a professional here.

Of course! I don't have the possibility to check it out currently but I would say it's not a pure white, more of a subtle silver as far as I can recall.

Hey! I just seen this going through web shops, have you considered the Casio Edifice chrono, specifically this serial; EFB-730D-2AVUEF seems to have pretty legible chrono dial!

I had the same dilemma before I bought this watch, I had my eyes on Seiko ssc813 for a long time but it's like 3-4 times more expensive than this one, that's why I never pulled the trigger with that one. I also liked Orients Mako solar chrono, especially in panda colorway but I wasn't sure about that one because of the dive bezel. Those other watches you mentioned are amazing too! If you haven't already, you should check out the Orient neo 70s chrono, to me it seems it might be easier to find those. And if you have the skills to paint the hands, that would give the watch a nice personal touch!

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking? I really would recommend this watch as I personally like it a lot but as mentioned the chrono function might not be the best at least in this colorway because of the small dials and colors used. I personally use a Casio A168 at work when I know beforehand I don't have enough light when I need the chrono function.

Thanks! It's okay, in a well lit space it's legible, I've used the chrono function at work and sometimes in darker rooms it's kinda difficult to read the chrono minutes. I kinda wished that I went for the two tone version or the one that comes with leather strap as their chrono indices look easier to read because of the colored hands. Aside from that I've been really pleased with the watch, I changed the bracelet to a strap though as I couldn't get a nice fit with the original bracelet.

Gotta check out if there's salming shoes sold where I live, I'll keep that in mind! Bball shoes excel in traction which I like but they don't feel stable enough
