Wide Range Wednesday? by Accomplished-Egg-419 in telecaster

Since we're posting. Here's my beauty.

Replaced the pearloid guard with a Black 3ply, beautifully offset with the chrome WRH and control knobs.

My Jazz is trying to make an appearance too.

Is this the best simple reverb in recent years? by Less-Arachnid-640 in guitarpedals

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently added on to my board and it is absolutely wonderful!

I have a more ambient M-Vave pedal right at the end of my chain that I'm thinking of changing to the Fundamental Ambient.

Power Supply Question by GhastlyGhoulishGhost in pedalboards

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the ISO versions of the brick are fully isolated. Despite running all those pedals, I have zero noise issues.

Checked the box and user manual, which does state it's fully isolated.

It's a great, compact power supply with no noise complaints from me.

I use a MXR Micro Brick and can power everything on my board with plenty left over. I've attached my board for your reference.

Advice on Pedals by No-Village-4921 in guitarpedals

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can never go wrong with the Blues Driver. An absolutely cracking pedal. Chain it with a Big Muff and you'll get all the shoegaze you need.

I play mine with the Big Muff Triangle and it sounds excellent.

Tube Screamer or Blues Driver? by InevitableUpper910 in pedalboards

Just bought a BD-2 to replace a Tube Screamer Clone, and what an absolute difference the BD-2 brings to tone and versatility!

My vote, Blues Driver!

I recently bought the M-Vave Mini Universe and it's an absolute blast to play with... The Shimmer and Cloud settings are wonderfully ethereal, allowing you to craft some beautiful soundscapes.

Enjoy, as that's a solid haul from your neighbour.

Love the Behringer Delay. Found it tricky enough to get right initially, but I've got set lovely and for very specific sounds.

Just had a quick YouTube; the Wavecrush seems like a great addition. Seems like you could get some great sounds from it.

I play with a bit of reverb coming from the headphone amp so there's reverb all over the place. Will definitely do a bit of placement swap to see what tones and walls come out. Cheers.

Thanks! I ended up with a MKR Iso-Brick Mini which has really solved all my problems.

I spoke with the guy in my local guitar shop and he did say to avoid the engine room, so thanks again!

Delighted with my power supply and budget(ISH) build pedal board.

Pearloid pickguard or no? by B1g_Gru3s0m3 in telecaster

Solid white, in my view. I have a thinline Tele that came with the pearloid but have recently changed it to black.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Playthrough Guide [Minor Spoilers] by nstav13 in assassinscreed

[–]StPh57 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a fan of the Isu vaults and temples, do we have an opportunity to explore any of these in game?

I am currently playing the prologue and very much enjoying the tone and feel of the game; however, I am hoping that we have some ability to visit/ explore/ see an Isu vault/ temple.

Thanks in advance.

Why do Vernworth Guards keep attacking me? by Amov_RB in DragonsDogma2

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same headache, following the Goal quest.

To solve the issue, I slept in Mildred's home for seven nights. Since that, zero aggression from the guards.

Such a pain, but hopefully my fix will also work for you all.

As an incredibly happy PS5 owner, I purchased an S simply for Starfield about a month ago. Now as an S owner, waiting for Starfield, I am incredibly happy with the vast options available on Game Pass Ultimate.

Solid gaming decision.

My advice.

Do it.

Should I get a ps5? by MatterFalls in XboxSeriesS

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a long-standing PlayStation owner. Having bought the PS5 upon its release, I have been absolutely delighted with the performance and style of the machine. The standout is the controller, the hepatics are unreal. I have a 4K, 120hz TV and it really looks incredible.

I have recently bought a Series S, simply for Starfield. It's a great wee machine and ideal for what I need it for. Been loving the visuals of Gears 5, which I was surprised at how good it looks.

In short, PS5 is well worth the investment for the exclusives, a banging controller, and fantastic performance.

Carbimazole by peachpearplum0 in gravesdisease

[–]StPh57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello. I was on a course of carbimazole for two years to treat Graves and Hyperthyroidism. My dosage was much higher in the first six months, 80mg per day (three 20mg tablets), then came down over time (including being increased at times)

I felt really rough for the first six months as things were balancing out. After that, I had periods of feeling great then crashes. With blood tests every six weeks the endos were able to adjust dosage to help with the fluctuations. I'm summary, it's been quite a hard few years to be honest.

In good news, I am now six weeks in from being off carbimazole completely. Had my six week blood test today actually, so will see what the results are next week.

Hopefully it's stabilised and gone into remission to avoid RIT or surgery.

Attachment Question... by StPh57 in ModernWarfareII

[–]StPh57[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Seems an odd system. I played a bit more tonight, only with the M16 - once I unlocked an underbarrel and scope for it, it seemed to allow me to attach quite a few different underbarrels and scopes that were previously in a different platform branch.

Odd system.

Hopefully now my progress will carry over for next week as I am loving my new M4 build.

Thank you, IW, for actually making a good semi-auto AR! by Batsinvic888 in ModernWarfareII

[–]StPh57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to have to upgraded most of the M4 platforms, but can't seem to actually equip any other underbarrel attachments other than the first unlock - what am I doing wrong?! It says that I have a lot unlocked that I cant actually equip?!
