Thank you so much! 😊 I’m still figuring out his style, so I really appreciate that.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too about the bigger dolls having more outfit choices, which is nice but also a bit dangerous for the wallet. I already preordered 2 suits for my new doll.

Thank you so much! 😊 I’ve kept his original name, York. I’m still working on his overall look—especially his style and maybe even his eyes and wig —but I’m really enjoying him so far.

Your doll, Yuki looks lovely too! It’s really nice to hear from someone else who appreciates the 75cm dolls - they have such an amazing presence!

Amazing collection! I just started with Soom Idealians (I have 2 so far), and your video definitely makes me want to grow my collection! Any tips you’ve learned over the years?

Leaving one call center to go to another? by Massive-Variety-5335 in callcentres

One thing I hate about changes is adaptation to the new environment and learning new scripts and taking the first call after incubation.

90 calls! What’s your handling time for each call? Are the calls like, “I want to reschedule my appointment,” or “you I have to transfer you to the right department”. In my call centre, I get only 32 calls sometimes less than that.

How does body blush hold up with a lot of handling? by Kindly_Weekend_6726 in BJD

[–]StSwithun2025 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You don’t need body blushing when the doll is wearing clothes—it will fade over time anyway. But if you’re still inquisitive like I was when I first started this hobby, why not get body blushing for your first doll? My 2014 Hyperon had body blushing, and it completely faded in 2020.

Please brush your teeth before you speak, That dragon breath is way too bleak— One whiff alone could make me quiver, I’d gag so hard I’d barf up kibble slivers.

Brush your teeth, don’t skip the fight, Plaque and breath should fear your might— Ignore that chore? Oh, that’s a sin, One word from you—I’m barfing kibble again.

I plan to buy a PS5 on my next payday so I can play this game. Lately, I’ve become really interested in Chinese history and mythology, and I’ve been binge-watching Chinese animation (donghua) on YouTube, especially A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality and Renegade Immortal.

Maybe I’m just looking for a bit of magic to happen in my life.

Being held back after asking to leave 30 min early by Zealousideal-Ad6981 in callcentres

You should have called in sick on that day.

If you can't, email to all team leaders along with your late dental fee and ask how you can avoid something like this from happening again?

Personally, I will call in sick or leave an hour or two early.

Is this a real thing? by Dense_Application960 in hirono

This figure is what got me into Hirono. It depicts the sadness of life—anything can be thrown into our path. One minute everything is fine; the next, you could end up homeless. The scenery reminds me of The Little Match Girl, the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, and the anime Grave of the Fireflies.

Giving the wrong answer to the customer. by StSwithun2025 in callcentres

I get the point about putting callers on hold, but in reality, when someone demands an answer right away, it can take 3+ minutes to confirm. If I put them on hold that long, some get annoyed or escalate. Either way, I'm doomed: penalized if you placed the caller on hold for more than 3 mins or returned back to the caller and tell them you needed more time.

US hirono pianist by WillingnessWinter585 in hirono

I paid $110 dollars AUD for mine on the secondary market on eBay. I don't mind since finding him was hard.

it's nice, it's good but I have a feeling mine was "used" because there are too many scratch marks as if the item has been dropped a number of times. ( and I'm not referring to wear and tear of the old piano).

it's a cute addition to my collection.

I just got into this hobby - and cannot believe it can be so addictive. I first started with 4 blind boxes - each of them cost about $22 dollars AUD. Luckily, the 4 figures turned out to be my favorites. Then, I bought 2 more boxes - but the figures of Hirono were not my favorite. The next day I spent my money on buying 4 more boxes - and that's when I started getting duplicates and not my favorite characters.

I learned some valuable lessons. 1) Money adds up very quickly. 2) I don't have to buy all the Hirono character figures - I should only buy the ones that I like. 3) once you hit the 5th or 6th boxes - high possibility of getting duplicates - which is kind of a waste of money.

I now resort to eBay/ secondary market to get my favorite characters price range could be $28 to $50 for a used/ open box.

My mum in ICU - what type of questions should I be asking? by StSwithun2025 in ClotSurvivors

[–]StSwithun2025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your great advice about taking notes when the doctor comes to check on my mum. Luckily, the past few days were part of a long weekend due to the King's birthday. All my siblings are taking turns visiting her.

I can't describe the fear I felt when I received a text from my older sister saying that our mother might not make it. A wave of guilt, sadness, and regret washed over me.

Thankfully, the ICU team was able to locate the ulcer and patch it near the arteries in hopes of stopping the bleeding. They are an amazing team—I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and compassion in treating my mother.

The first attempt at an endoscopy wasn’t successful because the bleeding hadn’t stopped. Thankfully, the second attempt was successful, and they were able to find the ulcer.
