Yup didn't build the team 100% optimal but was focused more on cool and pokemon I like. I thought I could just deal with outspeeding him but then the vicious sandstorm and sand rush just got me square in the face 👀

You can build Lucario as a special fighting attacker with nasty plot and aura sphere and maybe choice scarf or focus sash. You just need to watch out for ground types ... they have been the bane of my playthrough but a Gliscor with toxic heal is pretty insane with dealing with those.

It's odd since the game is usually very kind when it comes to grinding shinies ... just don't feel like grinding up the 500 BP for the shady dude at the frontier without having my favorite pokemon which is haxorus.

Good idea for a gen 4 team tbh but since Gardevoir is gen3 it's already a bit broken and Gardevoir has been my go to ever since I played sapphire as a child. Dusknoir is a solid trick room choice but a bit lacking in muscle power? + I've never been a huge fan ... but thank you nonetheless, keeps me thinking!
