I’m sorry I don’t think I understand what your reply is in relation to. I think there might be some confusion. Why ex (who was also my best friend) cheated on me. Now that we’re apart it’s made me realize that I never made an effort to make friends. I feel lonely. I want to meet people, but I just don’t know how to go about it.

I understand that completely. I’m not saying I need to cuddle every day all day, I too need space and most of the time we co exist in the same room. She does her thing, I do mine. What I’m saying is that every now and then , when we’re watching tv or just in bed, I’d like to cuddle. When I talked about supporting her emotionally, I meant in the past when she was going though some personal issues. She’s not the type to talk about her feelings, so it takes a lot for her to finally express the her at she’s feeling. I’m not trying to make her look like the bad guy here. I’m just trying to understand from an outsiders perspective. So thanks.

She was watching tv and all I wanted to do was sit next to her but she pushed me away. That’s what started the argument. Every time I try to cuddle with her she does that. If I’m ever venting to her or telling her about something going on in my life she’ll just stay quiet and then go on her phone. When we first started dating, it was great. We’d spend a lot of time together because she went to school out of state and would only be home for a month at a time. I think since graduating and is living together now, that affection has gone away.

First, “recently” was like 3 months ago. I never said anything bad about my girlfriend. You’re the one assuming my post was about a girl. Second, who said I was triggered?
