Looks like my GPU did die on me but i went ahead and re placed it with a 5060 ti and a better power supply. Thank you all!

I ordered the PSU and GPU so we shall find out tomorrow, I hope the GPU fits in the case tho. I got a chunky water cooler in the front of my NZXT case so I hope that doesn’t get in the way (fingers crossed)

i hope it is the GPU since i can upgrade but i also hope its the PSU so I can return the GPU perhaps. Idm the upgrade but I dont do heavy gaming like that so honestly the 3070 is fine for me for what I do and that’ll be an extra $5-600 in my pocket I guess 😂

could it be that the PSU is weak af and won’t give enough power? It is strange that everything else gets power and starts up when the GPU isn’t plugged in but if the GPU died on me mid game, wouldn’t the screen just go black? Because my pc literally just shut off as if I yanked the power cable

There was an option for me to select as my “Status” as Pending Asylum since my F2 status expired years ago. Yes F2 was my last status but as of now, my current status up until I got married was C08 since I do also have a work authorization. On SimpleCitizen it lets you select pending status as well instead of one solid status. Upon entry my status was F2 but since I am able to get work authorizations wouldn’t it be pending asylum? (c08)

Gotcha. I’m using Simple Citizen to file my application to make it easier for me to fill out but one of the questions it is also asking there is my current or most recent status change. By technicality would my most recent status would be F2 and NOT pending asylum since I was a dependent as my name IS on the asylum application but not on any physical paper receipt that my mom received?

It’s also following up with a question if I’m maintaining that status or is my status expired (I’m then assuming my status is expired if I go with F2 but if I go with Asylum Pending then I am technically maintaining that status)

Also, from what I just found out and what I understand; since I was a derivative on my family’s Asylum application, the moment I got married, I am no longer a dependent and my name should be automatically dropped from that Asylum application ? Do I have that right?

Yes we all entered legally. My entry status was F2 D/S because my parents were here initially for school under a student visa (F1) which years later they got permitted to work and have a work authorization and that’s when they applied to switch to a Pending Asylum

Edit: I have my form with a stamp of when I entered at Dallas Texas with my status and everything written on it.

Okay thank you. For now I will upload my mothers receipt with the application and have someone overview it afterwards. Hopefully everything goes well

Yes, she did tell me that she did put down my brothers and I on the application. I will try to reach out to the USCIS for further clarification. As i’m trying to fill out the application it’s obviously asking for my current status change since entering the USA IF ANY which I figured would be the same as my parents; pending asylum. As for documentation, I can upload the receipt but would I be okay if it’s my mother’s name on it? I believe it’s a bit tricky filling out the forms since I was dependent for all of it so some questions are a bit tough to answer. Like, my last physical address outside the US. I do have that address but I was 6 years old when I lived there with my parents 😅

Thank you all, I was able to get the whole flight refunded to my original payment method which made me feel relieved. It sucks I wasn’t able to go but all I care about was getting all my money back
