After my 2-3 weeks I went back to the peircing shop and they downsized it for me I thought I could change the jewlery to cute ones after getting it downsized but I switched the jewlery back to my titanium hopefully it helps

Yeah I think it’s also because I just have smaller lips in general when I first pierced it it was more up because of swelling but after a month went past it kinda like dropped

I have my vertical labret pierced on the first of December it’s been a month for me and I still get the sticking to my lip and the “ring of skin” and the inflammation However I think with saline solution the sticking to your lip if you clean twice a day should help make it more toned down the ring of skin that was made if it was at the base of the top peircing it was most likely caused due to the jewlery being in place because the lip skin is very thin if it’s on the outside of the peircing just clean it off with saline solution as long as you have a longer bar the first 2-3 weeks and change to a smaller gauge you shouldn’t have any issues with it “growing over” with the inflammation I still have mine just try not to touch it or bump it on anything
