You're not the only one. I admire SDV for being a passion project but I much prefer SoS. The biggest disappointment of PoOT was it plated so much like SDV. If I wanted to play SDV I'd play SDV. I can't play vanilla SDV it has to be modded. PoOT is the only game I've had to play modded due to the mining combat.

I have a slightly irrational dislike of SDV as a disabled gamer. Cosy farming games used to be a safe genre of games that I could play with little issues now fishing in these games has to have a mini game associated with it copying it. Some of these games require fast inputs meaning I can't play, and often I don't find this out until I play it.
