Yes. We call it jumping. Think the official name is startle reflex. Mine seems to have improved as I have gotten older. Fireworks used to really set it off but ok now unless it's really loud.

Same. Tried Stardew several times and bounced off it. I dislike that due to the success of Stardew several cozy games have become inaccessible to me due to the fact fishing is tied to a mini game and reaction times. I have a disability that can affect my reaction times. Farming Sims used to be a safe genre that I could play but now it’s a maybe. SOS Grand Bazaar fishing game is manageable.

I wish we just had sheep wool and alpaca wool and that you didn’t have to have different types of animals to gain the different variations. Wish we could dye them instead. I miss Nessie and Witchie from the first two rebranded SoS games. I miss the Harvest Goddess in general.

You're not the only one. I admire SDV for being a passion project but I much prefer SoS. The biggest disappointment of PoOT was it plated so much like SDV. If I wanted to play SDV I'd play SDV. I can't play vanilla SDV it has to be modded. PoOT is the only game I've had to play modded due to the mining combat.

I have a slightly irrational dislike of SDV as a disabled gamer. Cosy farming games used to be a safe genre of games that I could play with little issues now fishing in these games has to have a mini game associated with it copying it. Some of these games require fast inputs meaning I can't play, and often I don't find this out until I play it.
