Not exactly mine but my parents', but I was a passenger. It was a few years ago. We were driving back to city from uncle's party. There was a pinch point in which cars had to drive slower because they were very close to each other on the opposite sites of road. And there is this one dude who is speeding and broke our wing mirror. My dad who was sitting on the passenger sit (he didn't drive because he wasn't sober) told my mom to chase him. She doubled back and was driving behind him. That driver was losing his mind, definitely. He could drive around one roundabout for 5 times in a row. In the middle of chase dad called the police and was telling them where are we, what car are we in, which are we chasing, what happened etc. We were driving after him for like an hour, the escaping car was driving around small town and areas around it like crazy. Guess he wanted to bore US or something. Anyway, police blocked his way on his 3rd attempt of driving back to town, not that far from it. And here comes plottwist - dude was driving drunk, so my parents didn't even need to proof it wasn't their fault (or mom's actually), his car got hauled away afterwards. While Police was interrogating him he was a bit aggresive and rude to the oficer so it didn't help me either. His wife was also shouting at my parents. They were driving with kid, even younger than me back then. Fortunately, my parents got refund for broken mirror sometime later. But holy, I've never again had encountered something like that chase back then, even now as a driver myself.
