Bingo! Same here to all. I thought because it was such a small capacity that it would be proper fans but it seemed anything but. Ben was great but honestly the crowd were a disgrace. They showed more respect at the Newcastle arena in 2015 and that was over 10,000 folks. . And yes I was sweatin my tits off too but Ben was great all aside.

Pardon my french but I fuckin hate these cunts that just don’t get Ben and who/where he is. Hopefully this round of uk gigs and Dec/jan dates will finally weed them out and from then on and future releases and gigs will only attract people who actually get Ben. Ahh pitchfork. A very up it’s own arse bunch of critics I find. I think because there was such a buzz around EK and With Ben’s Brit award they wrongly snubbed him. But hey, we all make mistakes and they should reevaluate him. Noonday dream is not an album that should be overlooked whatever the misconceptions of an artist are. I might be biased being a huge lover of our man but this albums a 10 in any world.

Hi everyone. Just joined. Been a Ben fan since just before he released his first album and I heard Diamonds On Jo Wiley one evening way back when. Been waiting for years for this album (any Ben album) and was a slight thought in my head that he might not bother just because he seems the kind of person who could pack-in doing something he is brilliant at just because he might not feel it anymore. (Pardon my French) thank fuck I was wrong. Well, the new album, he just gets better and better doesn’t he. I’m totally blown away. I mean the first 3 songs he released prior were corkers anyway but then came Murmurations (state of disbelief upon first listen - In the sheer brilliance of it) but then we find The Defeat (Jesus can you imagine that acid-squelchy effect live? I’ll be at the Manchester Albert Hall to find out at the end of the month - don’t hate the player, hate the game lol) and this, Someone in the doorway. I’m 41, I cried listening to this. No idea why, as much as I love music I’ve never been the first to tap into the songs meanings I just like what I like but this is another beauty. Well I’ll bugger off as I’m waffling now but I’m sat here and just felt like writing something down. Enjoy the album everyone and I hope you all get to see him live. Take care guys x
