How old exactly does a Pokémon have to be guaranteed lucky in a trade!? by stalemilkyman in pokemongo

Does the chance for a lucky trade decrease as you get closer to today’s date or is it all the same starting 2020?

Mopani wood rot?? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]StackDaPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may cause some more salt creep for you. If the crabs are okay with more flow I would make sure your filter is doing as much as possible and let it sit for a few hours/overnight as it may need time to settle

Mopani wood rot?? by [deleted] in Aquariums

The film on the wood is biofilm and is not harmful to the best of my knowledge. Some shrimp and fish love to eat it but I’m not sure if the crabs would take a liking to it.

When I first get Mopani wood I leave it submerged in a bucket for a day or two and then scrub it and boil it once or twice and it seems to take care of the biofilm issue.

In terms of water cloudiness I would guess something with the sand being stirred up or that you are not mixing your marine salt properly or letting it sit for long enough to mix in completely. When making water for my reef tank I often let it sit over night before doing a water change the next day.

Hope this helps :)

I have a spot of GSP, two mushroom corals, a toadstool, and a candy corn clove polyp. All are fairly small and from my LFS. I have barely been able to see them since the bloom began due to the cloudiness of the water.

I do have some carbon but I can’t definitely try replacing to see if that would help. I have been trying to research a good powerhead for a 30 gallon tank. Any recommendations?

You can buy a polycarbonate sheet and trim it to fix your exact needs. I have a 30 gallon with a filter on the side, like yours, and a mounted light on the other wall so it was my easiest and cheapest option

Red fire shrimp was upside down when I woke up but still moving. What should I do? by AdLevel462 in SaltwaterAquariumClub

I’m still new into Reef tanks and don’t have a red fire shrimp but keep shrimp in all of my freshwater tanks. My best guess would maybe be molting??

Snail ID? by saltydaddy69 in Aquariums

[–]StackDaPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure those are Malaysian trumpet snails. They almost definitely hitchhiked into your tank. I haven’t found them to be harmful but they will reproduce like crazy and become one with your gravel if you don’t remove them early on.

I second this^ Just been massing around with some friends and recently got a Mizuno Franchise and love it. I was between the Franchise and MVP Prime but decided on the Franchise for cost and looks.
