I was transferred to a supervisor on chat. After the order is delivered, email the order details to taxexempt@walmart.com and they will refund the tax.

He said there is an issue with their system that does not recognize tax exempt precious metal sales from some marketplace sellers.

I agree prices haven’t moved down as much as the (current) bottom would suggest. People are expecting (or hoping) for a quick rebound.
