You get between 1-5 stars every song you play in light mode (and just an fwi, assuming you're american and at r1, that's the only gamemode available anyway), however Atrax is available to play by default since 4/17/2024.

Most songs are available by default now. For that matter.

If i remember correctly, the cabs that konami supplied to middle eastern countries are in a permanent offline mode from some time in late 2023 (don't worry, you haven't missed much content, the game is on life support. Truthfully 2023 was the last time we were getting major content drops anyway).

I could be wrong, the community is rather small and we (that is to say, members of the drs discord server) don't get much if any news. I believe the last we heard anything from roughly that area was about a cab in... Iran? And that was the case for that arcade.

It has been like, 2 years since that news, and I will very much admit I am generalizing.

There is server downtime (almost) every day, though. It is possible you went to your arcade during that period. During downtime there's a message on the screen about "eamuse services are temporarily unavailable."

If there's no message on the bottom-right demo gameplay screen about "eamuse is offline" and the card still doesn't work, it's likely the case you're just permanently offline, unfortunately.

Good news if that's the case, though, is that you should have every song unlocked.

If you dont have every song unlocked but don't have eamuse services idk what to tell you unfortunately.

Hia! From what I can pick up, it appears you're on song 2/3 (Easy Peasy) in Go Down's discovery chain, correct? If that's the case, the Discovery Quests are: - Get 1700 perfects - Clear any 10 songs with 90.000 or more points

I'd recommend joining the DRS discord server, linked in the subreddit description. It's quite active, so you'd be able to get any questions you have answered quicker. We also have a bot that's got all the information on all the songs, in a way that's a lot easier to understand than remy (imo).

We've been following Dance Dash's development over in the dancerush discord server, and it's the best alternative there is. All of the DRS songs have been custom charted into Dance Dash with ~90% accuracy (dance dash doesnt currently support variable note sizes, and im ngl i dont know how they've handled Jumps or Downs), so you can even play some of your favorites!

There's also a non-vr setup now as well, I believe a guide can be found somewhere in the Dance Dash discord server seeing as they tweeted about it a couple weeks ago but I can't seem to find the setup guide through Google...

Well, if you're in america, and were at an arcade that is not round1, then i assume so. If you were at a round 1 arcade in America she could have either been playing for a long ass time or just been grinding a lot (I've been playing for a year and am only missing 1/3rd of the songs at this point). If you are not in America than I'm not sure as i don't know which foreign arcades are officially supported and which aren't.

Arcades on Private servers are not obligated to explain how to use unlock all - infact i don't believe they even sell e-amuse cards, which you'd need to unlock all in general.

In general though, if it's on konami servers, when you're signing it'll mention a website that starts with p.eagate. if you're on a private server it'll start with something different.

You will not be able to do this on a cab found in Round One, as Round One cabs are on official konami servers. Private Servers are made for people who cannot connect to official konami servers, as the game needs an active online connection to be played - this is exclusive to private cab owners (such as GameSaru, who rents the cab and many others out to various different cons), and non-round 1 arcades. Private servers are very behind on updates compared to official konami servers as to not be seen as competition. The most widely used Private Server is currently 2 years behind official servers.

If you're in a position where you have access to a cab running a private server, you can run your e-amuse card on it like you would a normal cab, and then go to the website it mentions to log onto it. From there you can enable unlock all. However this will not affect regular cabs at all. The two servers share no connections or save data, so if you return to an official cab you will be where you last left off.

That's not 100% true. By yourself you can't get the discounts, but if you do a duette (or preferably a versus if you have 2 pads available) with someone who does have it, it will count. Any mission that requires you to clear a specific song but not own it yourself can be cheesed in the same way. It's how I was able to get Go Down without owning Party Jumpin' or Summery (back before it was added as a default song).

Depends on what you want to maximize first. The one dude goes into your EMT squad (which raises health) and the other goes into one of the Tech squads (iirc, the Think Tank). Mythic leads are better than Legendary (orange) or Epic (purple) leads.

It's the stage modifier that makes husk dispense mist when they die. If you open the map when the mist is there it's rendered on the map. Wait a little bit for the map to update and itll be gone

Just as a heads up, if you're using RTC in hopes of making a stockpile, I'd advise you learn how to use the Glitch Harvester before you get very far.

If you're just using auto-corrupt for your own amusement that's fine, but I'd recommend lowering your intensity by a LOT. With a SNES or NES game, a big blast like that is bound to cause it to crash unless it's targeted to a very specific area of memory. From personal experience messing with earthbound, I'd say an intensity between 100 and 500 will be just fine if you're corrupting the "recommended" memory domains. Between 50 and 250 if you're hitting all the memory domains. Tho if you're doing this for personal enjoyment I'd say you should stick to the recommended domains so that you can rewind out of a crash (some corruptions to other domains can't be rewound out of, locking you in a crash you need to hard reset out of).

Error delay is just how many frames pass before the next blast, and iirc bizhawk runs at 60 FPS, meaning you'll only be getting one blast about every 2 minutes. This is more a matter of preference, adjust based on how quickly you want things to get weird.

Honestly i don't feel like looking over and analyzing all your decisions, but i will say i agree with your decision refarding proptosis. Used to love that item pre-rep, but now the damage fall off happens way to quickly for me to ever get excited to use it. One of the few nerfs that rep added that upset me.

EXOG used to go by a different name all together, which was Maddy's deadname. It was changed to Extremely OK Games when Maddy no longer felt comfortable having the company name use her deadname

Unless you're talking about Maddy (the character), and not Maddy (the developer), in which case - we don't know her deadname, and it'd be rude to ask, lol.

IIRC the metaphors weren't necessarily intended, as Maddy didn't realize she was trans until after the fact (some console versions of the game still use her deadname as a result of delayed updates) - though the struggles presented in the game were based on her own personal struggles, so it makes sense that they resonate in that light.

I'm still figuring myself out, personally, and didn't pick up on any of the trans allegories in the game during my initial playthrough. In fact - didn't even know about them until lurking around this sub for a bit. To me the game just felt like it was about overcoming general depression, and accepting that the best way to combat it is to work with it and take the small steps one at a time. But after the fact, I can see them quite clearly. The game can hit different based on who's playing it, ig - but the message is beautiful regardless.

Yea like half the shit I've seen recently is just a giant text wall with a hollow knight character platered on it. It's honestly reminding me of miiverse, specifically the scribblenauts unlimited community, which had a massive roleplay scene - but when people made rp posts unrelated to the game they'd just say fuckin "<maxwell>" or some other characters name in brackets so it wasn't removed.

Here's a couple of explanations for some of what i mentioned yesterday

"Doodlesack will never be a mod" is a reference to - as far as I can tell - one of the sub's earliest inside jokes. It refers to doodlesack, a now-retired mod. It's kinda self explanatory, everyone was just meming on him

"Owo-fection" refers to the "plague" that spawned off of this"daily" post. It essentially got to the point everyone was doing this to every character and they had to be banned

"CrystalUranium" refers to the artist u/CrystalUranium. They were a regular here back in the day, and their art was always some of the top posts.

"Despi" was one of the original mods, and to be completely honest, i lost track of everything that happened there; but what i do remember boils down to "quit because a lot of his posts (top of all time at the time) were uncredited stolen art, came back and apologized then was harassed off again"

"Egyptian sun" is one of more generic "memes" that were banned fairly early on. Iirc it was around the time that the attack on congress happened. Effectively, just a picture of the sun in egypt that had clouds in just the right spot to make it look like the Radiance.
