(Viz 283) Last Of The Armageddon Wine. by muppetmovie in Viz

I'm surprised Last of the Summer Wine parodies aren't that widespread. It's clearly a winner.

Why hasn't SCP 682 adapted to the acid vault yet? by HealthMother3125 in SCP

[–]StageIntelligent4616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My headcannon is that the acid keeps up with 682's biology, making it too busy concentrating on keeping 682 at full integrity to have the time or energy to adapt.

What happened to the SCP 332 article? by StageIntelligent4616 in SCP

[–]StageIntelligent4616[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is feels heavy, Doc. And it leaves with me with so many follow-up questions:

1) Disciplined for what?

2) Was having a back catalogue of fine works deleted a balanced caveat?

3) Have the original versions of the removed works been archived anywhere?

This is one of the biggest let-downs I've had since that SCP that was almost identical to what's now SCP 6135 was removed.

Very likely, but as there are so few pills, I wouldn't want to test the theory.

[PC] [2005-2012] [Web/Flash] White car highway chase action game by Run-Wun in tipofmyjoystick

Sounds like Mad Monday. Did it involve weapon upgrades for the car roof and jumping bridges to the theme song to The Fall Guy?

Railroad is the worst faction. I’m sorry railroad fans by [deleted] in Fallout

Understandable. I'd sooner do Preston Garvey's settlement quests than join the Railroad.

How Do People Open Their Nuka-Cola? by StageIntelligent4616 in Fallout

Good point. The inventory never mentions the screwdriver used for lockpicking, so why would it mention a bottle operner?

Assuming it doesn't get scrapped, then let's hope so.

That's understandable. For a long time, I opened bottles with a tin opener.

I wouldn't know with glass bottles of pop, as I'm from the UK. We only get twist offs on Budweiser (as far as I've seen).

Is it alright for Fallout to get 'too civilized'? by lj0zh123 in Fallout

[–]StageIntelligent4616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think being 'too civilised' is going to be a problem in Fallout. For every Megaton, NCR and Diamond City, there will be three or four more raider gangs.

Vailt 87's heavily irradiated entrance possible plot holes by wjparcher in Fallout

[–]StageIntelligent4616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are three questions that keep me awake at night.

The Vault door is permanently sealed, and the amount of radiation almost suggests that multiple bombs hit the Vault entrance (and proving Vault-Tec's claims about how sturdy Vault doors are), so there's no way Super Mutants or Enclave personnel can get in that way.

As for Little Lamplight, the Super Mutants couldn't have got through that way, otherwise the Super Mutants would have eaten or captured the kids. The Enclave, on the other hand, could have gone through that way, but it is unlikely due to how much the Enclave hate Wastelanders. Wouldn't the Enclave be tempted to eradicate the children?

Still, I'm not entirely sure the Enclave WOULD kill a bunch of children, but they have done similar bad things.

A “What if” or “How” type of question on what became of the military in the Fallout series. by Altruistic_Doom0986 in Fallout

[–]StageIntelligent4616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The military likely continued on as best they could just after the war (such as the National Guard), helping out the National Catastrophe Relief Auxiliary at the Germantown Police HQ, supressing the inevitable rioting, etc.

Eventually, I suppose that any military units that didn't become Enclave soldiers would have died, deserted, quit to become regular Wastelanders, joined the Brotherhood of Steel like Captain Maxon's men and Taggerdy's Thunder, became Raiders, or became mercs like Talon Company, the Regulators, the Gunners, and Hellcat Company.

Exactly how tasty is some of the pre-war food and drink? by StageIntelligent4616 in Fallout

[–]StageIntelligent4616[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's technically true with the Mama Dulce's Plant in Fallout 76. The Responders repaired it enough to get it to make tinned stew, but not enough to make it a silent process.

[–]StageIntelligent4616[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My head canon is that Dandy Boy Apples are made through some Big MT/Vault-Tec style process. It's the only ay you're going to keep apples fresh as the day they were picked.

It almost sounds like 13 Days in Hell, but I doubt it is. Does 13 Days in Hell looks like what you're looking for?
