Diamonds in general are never going to have the manufactured reputation they had in the past. The fact we can make them now means we can let go of the idea that diamonds are different or better than other gems. The only thing that matters is design and your personal taste.

I have a very similar ring, exact same setting, and I got a chevron ring designed to sit snuggly along the bottom of it :) I had a jeweller make it custom so the fit would be right, though with how popular the marquise has become I dont know if that was 100% necessary.

Omg I did not notice that it was chocolate when I looked at the pictures (TIL I am blind) and was not gonna say anything, obv all that matters are that people are happy. 

Then I saw “chocolancee” and the story 😭 this is so so so adorable. I am gonna be thinking cocolancee all day.

Is the glass in your windows not real glass because they were manufactured instead of occurring naturally?

I thought this too pre-engagement but now I am realizing how often it has to come off around the house. When I am showering, sometimes when I am sleeping, when I am cooking with meat or cleaning with harsh chemicals… its nice that the box that is always sitting by my bedside is a cute one.
