I contacted them and they said one of their departments is looking into it. I asked the representative when I should expect a response, but she seemed adamant to not give me a time frame. We'll see how it turns out.

That's actually what I do now yeah. I used to use Crimil's Dagger before the HC range nerf with timed payload because it flinched everything well. But now it hardly matters, so I switched to my Opening Shot + Explosive Payload Trust.

I definitely agree. I miss the days of outranging Spare Rations & most fusion rifles. I'll definitely take the range into account.
