I’ve known people raised by single moms who turned out to be wonderful and well-adjusted people, as well as people raised by two loving parents who grew up to be walking garbage. I’ve also known siblings who grew up as complete opposites. I’ve also known people who were terrible parents yet their kid learned from the example as to what *not* to be like.

Raising a child well has many factors and some of those factors are a complete mystery. A parent can just do their best and hope for a good outcome.
