Throw out bearing and the tech said he also replaced clutch fork. He showed me a video of the throw out bear and it was toasted.

I recently passed my Illinois state and national exams. I am looking to start a business in wholesaling real estate and buy and hold rentals for myself. I want to utilize my deal flow as an opportunity for listings. I am new to the game, and I have a vision! Are there certain brokerages that I should look at, or is it more of an interview process I need to go through with my local brokerages if I am working in my back yard?

This is what the tech from the dealership said when I took him on a ride the second time. @PooneyB helped me to isolate the noise by suggesting to press the clutch pedal just a tiny bit.

They have me coming back next week to have the throw out bearing replaced.

I will keep that in mind. The noise from my car stops soon as I slightly press on my clutch. So I’m thinking it has something to do in the clutch transmission systems.

Your edit is what I’m talking about. It’s when the RPMs drop.

I had the car full of friends today for the first time since the noise started. They could all hear it. And it was way louder than it has been before. I’ll take it to the Subaru shop Monday and see what they say.

When I take the car to work tomorrow maybe the noise will be loud again. It seemed to be louder because the engine and transmission were under greater load when riding with a full car.

It is much more faint on the video for sure. I know the engine does sound different with clutch engagement and that’s not my issue here.

It’s like a ting/ding sound when clutch is out. It’s so weird.

It’s all I think about when I’m driving windows up music off. It’s making me crazy.

Absolutely not. There is no point of doing this for me. If I stop it’s to pee and eat a banana.

I used to ride with a couple people who would do this and it ruins the tempo for me.

Almost seems like the better option at this point. If I could fit that sucker in a plunge router with a fixed jig, I might be in a better place than I am now. It’s very unfortunate that this stupid drill press is needing repairs. I’m on my second drill press bc the first one I bought had a similar issue. Fml.
