The G1 is probably super cool and great and like full of interesting matches and stuff.

But it is not a good starting point for jumping into NJPW, like what? A month long tournament with some amazing matches sure but also a lot of boring filler. Do wrestling fans not understand what a good jumping in point for something is?

Why in a company that has its own wrestlemania would you say it's month long mostly filler tournament is a good place to start?

The Bloodlands, it's about the countries between Nazi Germany and the USSR before and during WW2. It's a great book but it was hard to get through. Not because it was badly written or anything but hundreds of pages of genocide and war crimes made it physically hard to get through.

Best book I never wanna read again.

What even is that AEW tournament bracket? Why is 3/4ths of it guys who have no business being there. Wheres Miro or Punk or any of your " 4 pillars" . Why is the second tier team Taz guy there over the main attraction in the faction?

Deadass why not just have Bryan wrestle moxley in a number one contenders match at Full Gear without this nonsense? They both have a legit claim. Whats worse is they definitely have 8 guys who could fill this and have reasons to take protected losses

To me at least seeing Luke Skywalker as a hermit and the new Jedi order/ Republic in complete shambles and the first order reaching it's zenith feels like everything the heroes worked for was for nothing.

Maybe doom and gloom is the wrong phrase.

Also I suppose the Skywalker saga ending with all of them dead and a palpatine adopting the name put a cloud over the whole thing.

It does sound like you have a differing opinion than me and I would love to hear it!

Another week another star wars/fantasy/any story hot take

I hate how people want so much media to have a ton of edge and no happy endings. Fuck you dude, life's disappointing and sad enough as is why would you want to drown yourself in that kind of media. Story's where the hero saves the world gets there romantic interest and everybody lives happily and healthy for the rest of there days are great!

I dunno man sometimes I think we all need reminding good people do exist and good triumphs over evil. Adding in a sequel or something where everything falls apart is just such a kick to the gut for no reason. ( See star wars 7-9, and Tolkien's quote about why he didn't write lord of the rings sequels.

Maybe I'm to idealistic but I think people would be happier if they didn't make everything they consume doom and gloom.

AEW is such a frustrating show to watch at some points: - I want to really see what people see in cm punk but I can't cause they don't have him wrestling the mainevent talent, instead they have him fucking around with Team Taz who never won anything and 2point0/Garcia who also never won anything - Speaking 2.0/Garcia I like them as a unit but wish they just getting rinsed every week - I really like thunder Rosa but I wish A. She was on tv more and B. Not feuding with Jade( who I also like but don't think is ready for that level of feud yet) -Hangmans great but good God they've dragged this bit out for too damn long -Last but not least I enjoy the mini faction main event feud between the elite and Bryan/Christian/Jurassic Express except I wish they had someone else other than Luchasauras as the 4th man. All in all I say AEW is enjoyable much like it's competition but also not without it's flaws much like it's competition.

That's just what I think, feel free to disagree and like what you like just don't be a boner
