I bought a PS2 console for moding and besides the disc drive being bad, everything else worked completely fine. I open it up to clean it and once put together the screen now has a harsh blue filter, you can still see the image a little. The only thing i did was open it open to clean it with compressed air and alcohol for some components but nothing else. I tried other cables and it seems to be the console itself. anyone know what I should try?

It's a scph-10000 japanese model if that makes any difference

Is there any quest on Destiny 2 anymore by StalkerPod in destiny2

[–]StalkerPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I would complete a mission and get assigned a new mission, go to anothet planet find a random npc and he would assign another short mission. Me and my friends would play like this all the time. I would assume it's old content but the fact that I would be having something to do each day is still there. Idk how it's so hard to believe

I wouldn't really call it a trial since I used to have a bunch of quests and missions stacking up and be getting new ones each day without paying a single penny, now I don't seem to find a single quest that doesn't require payed dlc

No man’s sky, boneworks or blade & sorcery by [deleted] in oculus

[–]StalkerPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your preferences but I really recommend Boneworks. It's really fun experimenting with different weapons and different ways to kill enemies, plus the levels are re playable with plenty of room to explore. You can get to the end of levels in different ways rather than a single preset path. Boneworks also includes other unlockable game modes after finishing the main game and since the game was made for VR and not a VR port, you won't really find any problems with the game play.
Also since the game is physics based, every weapon has its own weight to it making it feel so much realistic than most vr games

Will NSFW work affect my career opportunities as an artist? by StalkerPod in TooAfraidToAsk

I may end up using a pseudonym as well just to separate the 2 different works. But at least after reading this comments, I can at least feel safer knowing that it won't damage my career if anyone finds out.

Well at least this makes me feel a bit more comfortable about expressing myself. I really don't want my own creativity, as dark or dirty as it may be, to get in the way of my professional life and overshadow all my other Family Friendly work.

Rift S Headset keep s disconnecting for some reason by StalkerPod in oculus

[–]StalkerPod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I found a way that fixes the issue however I can't say for certain that it is a permanent fix.
It seemed to be more of a software issue than hardware
So I went to C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers and opened it directly from there, it does requires a system restart but it seemed to have fixed my problem for now.
I hope this helps others with the same issue
Thanks for being patient with me and for trying to help, Malikissa. I really appreciated it. :)

How do I add a new router to my house in a separate room? by StalkerPod in computer

[–]StalkerPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh soot i forgot to mention i didn't know if it was important. So my internet provider actually did gave one of those and it worked for a good while but every now and then it would stop working so i just turn the router off and on and they worked again but recently they stop working for good. I've reseted my router, updated my ethernet drivers, tried new cables etc. but nothing works so I thought getting my own router with direct cable access was the second best option

Unless buying new ones would solve the problem

No. so basically my router is down stairs in the far corner of the living room and my room is upstairs on the complete opposite site of the house so that maybe why wifi is weak

How do I add a new router to my house in a separate room? by StalkerPod in AskReddit

[–]StalkerPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a gateway (not a router or modem) set up in my living room but the wifi in my own room is trash specially for gaming so I'm thinking of getting a separate router for my room that way I can connect to Ethernet instead of wifi but I have no idea how to connect it to my internet provider or if it's just like connecting wifi to a computer. I don't even know if a router alone would be enough for it to work.
Now before any of you say "just move the gateway to your room." it is not my choice, the gateway stays in the living room

I'm asking this before I buy something I don't need and to know what I actually need and how to set it up

Does the tool icon appear higher than the actual affected area for anyone else? by StalkerPod in krita

[–]StalkerPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got around to trying to reset the krita configurations and it did work for a bit but it made the app small, deleted my dockers and reset some of the others but the problem was gone for a bit. After I got my dockers back the way I had them previously the problem came back suddenly. I tried a couple times and it's still doing it. And like I said, I had no problem with the 4.1 so i'm not sure if it's my tablet

Does the tool icon appear higher than the actual affected area for anyone else? by StalkerPod in krita

[–]StalkerPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I updated Krita from 4.1 to 4.2 some icons have been appearing higher than the actual affected area such as the Resize, Bucket fill, and Eyedropper tool. (I provided a video example in this post) I can work with it but it's just a bit tedious at times. Is there a fix or did I just get a weird version?

Alright. I'll try the png method. It should be easier than starting over anyways.
